That means you think she was actively incompetent. Why? You have given no reason whatsoever for this allegation. Just as you have given no reason for claiming she would be a puppet. The President doesn’t have to do what the party tells them, the President sets the agenda of the party. If any party insiders disagree the President tells them to go fuck themselves.

Now Trump isn't just spending time on his golf game while he's on holiday, he's literally making golf his job too. He's personally spent less time on Gaza and Ukraine peace deals than he has mediating White House meetings between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, something that is quite definitely not a government issue. So why's that going on? Well the Saudis will pay him a shit ton of money to host events on Trump courses again if he helps them out.

Amazon has just agreed to pay Melania Trump $28M (seriously that's just her personal cut) for a documentary about her - over bidding the competition by three times the closest offer. Does that matter anymore? Do James Comer and Jim Jordan give a shit? Is it because they support Trump that he gets a pass on cash for access, or does literally no-one care about corruption that happens out in the open? It seems more and more that people only care about the stuff they think is being hidden from them, so only the fake allegations of corruption ever get any traction.

All the territory he possesses. All the natural resource wealth he’s stolen. Access to global markets restored so that he can profit from it. No reparations for his wholesale destruction and heinous war crimes. No security guarantee to stop him reinvading in 4 years time when he’s rebuilt his army. According to Trump, that’s the deal that’s on the table.

What makes you think you have any idea what floor you're on? Your claim is that incredibly drastic action needs to be taken right now or it's too late. But to me an anecdote about the fate of a 250 year old wartime currency of a start-up nation isn't a particularly good reason to think that the US dollar is going to impode tomorrow.

I’ve heard that view before and it’s an interesting view. The combat leaders they actually had in Normandy and beyond (Winters/Spears) were almost universally loved and/or respected by the men… so the rush to give all the credit to the guy who was a dick is slightly strange to me. But he’s not though, is he? The mass firings have zero connection to DEI, zero connection to performance. He’s ripping acceptable staffing levels out by the roots, period. None of your vague platitudes change how shortsighted, dangerous and ultimately counterproductive and expensive that is.
