Republicans are starting to realize what they've done

In the same way 'free speech absolutist' Musk files numerous SLAPP suits against those who criticise him and will insta-ban anyone who posts mean things about him on Twitter, 'government efficiency' is almost certainly going to mean fiscal austerity for thee, massive subsidies and contracts for me. -
Yep. Turns out that government of the Elite, by the Elite, for the Elite was what Republicans wanted all along.
-
How, exactly? Give an example.
-
So for clarity - whether or not immigrants follow the law is irrelevant?
-
Just a reminder that you ended up looking very silly in the thread you started an then ran away from on this subject.
-
Christ that's tough. From what I understand those long distance ferry flights had horrendous loss rates, pushing beyond the limits of available navigation systems in all weathers, let alone getting into combat.
-
Thank you, you too. That's quite something. As you might have guessed my granddad the motorcyclist was very old when I was born, I'd have been about the same age when he died. I'm also genuinely not trying to take anything away from you personal service, and I think it's distasteful that some people seem to be doing that. Merry christmas!

Again, you need to have that argument with the Turtle, since his video says otherwise.
-
You obviously don't understand I'm not saying a spoon isn't a weapon. I am saying they're not a deterrent against armed robbery though. If you wanna argue against that, by all means give it your best shot.... I mean vicious spooning.
-
No. I can assure you that your granddad never kicked my country's ass. My granddad was on a battleship bombarding Gold beach on D-Day. Earlier in the war he'd had measles and missed the sailing of HMS Prince of Wales to the Pacific where she was sunk by Japanese torpedo bombers. Fine margins, eh? My other granddad, if you can believe it, was a motorcycle courier during the Great War and in the Home Guard in WW2. He was just too young and just too old to be taken on in regular service each time. Still lost a finger trying to ride that Triumph too fast though.

You need to have that argument with the Turtle.

Lol, fuck no. You go waste your own brain cells. I mean seriously, a white guy boasting he never had to think about race while the Rodney King riots were going on? Yeah, I'm sure he's got some real insights.

During the 20 years of failure that paved the way for the Taliban to be the force they are now? Can't you remember?
-
Well jeez, if you think all you ever need is a synopsis to be sure of what's going on then that explains a whole bunch of your problems. But ok, in answer to your question no. I mean like, super obviously no. D'uh.
-
And when your military left, they left the Taliban stronger and in more complete control of more of the country than they ever had before you turned up. That's got nothing to do with Biden. That's 20 years of abject political and military failure (though certainly more political) that was literally signed and sealed before Biden took office, he was just set up to be the one who delivered it.
-
About as relevant as any other way you've tried to defend your original point. Honestly what were you thinking when you chose that as an example of gun use that no-one could possibly argue wasn't an amazing justification for having more guns?
-
Who gives a fuck? You think I'm going to bother watching an entire film about a known racist calling me a racist? Dude you gotta get out more.
-
Then I can say you. You see, in the language we supposedly both speak, you can either mean you specifically or you collectively, and you specifically are supposed to understand that something called context exists. So again, after you were briefly in Afghanistan in 2002, you held Afghanistan for 20 years, and when you left Afghanistan you left the Taliban stranger than ever with more complete control of more of the country than they ever had before you showed up.
-
Does a question accurately describe me? No. I don't think there's any way that makes sense.
-
If you're complaining that you didn't leave Afghanistan after 20 years why are you taking credit for holding it for 20 years?
-
Well, that's a guy who complained that a black mermaid wasn't scientifically accurate so... I'm guessing the answer to his question is yes.
-
You were there for 20 years in 2002?
-
And after that 20 years was done you left with the Taliban stronger and in more complete control than when you arrived. I'm sure there are a lot of genuine personal reasons why it's unpleasant to acknowledge that, but unfortunately it is the reality. It is a tale of abject political and military failure that was more or less inevitable since Bush's original decisions on how to impose a brand new system of government on a very foreign country.
