Sure - but it doesn’t make any difference. You’re still claiming to have a special ability you won’t accept that anyone else possesses. You are capable of making judgements about others based on what they’ve written but no one else can make judgements about you. It’s so similar to how you went wrong with your covid bleach fiasco. I mean just imagine being the one to guy to fervently defend Trump’s comments on that and to think you’re somehow good at interpreting things at the same time.

Well first, number of murders isn’t murder rate. That’s a bait and switch. Second, neither is true. There are significantly fewer murders and, due to population growth happening at the same time, a murder rate now that is significantly lower than half the ‘96 rate.

So he only allows for the possibility that anyone else might be right in private. Here he never presents his point of view with the words ‘maybe’ or ‘I think’ or even ‘probably’. He never takes a backward step from his original post, no matter how stupid, and he never acknowledges that anyone else might have a valid point. He is at least as definite and as dogmatic in what he writes as anyone else here. But he assumes that he is a special and unique flower, and while he is capable of re-thinking things and keeping it a secret, no one else could possibly be doing that, because they’re not as good as him. Sound about right?

You thought the 15 minute travel restriction conspiracy theory was real. That’s undeniable. Here’s the thing, right: the travel restriction conspiracy theory was invented by people who hate the 15 minute planning concept and want to poison it in the public consciousness by inventing a version that sounds as horrible, restrictive and authoritarian as possible. So the question you asked was ‘hey, do people think this intentionally horrible sounding thing is a good idea?’

You literally posted an article saying you were wrong as proof that you were right, because government sources are absolutely untrustworthy. You have not given one single millimetre of ground despite knowing that your position is completely untenable - just as you refuse to give a millimetre on your insistence that Trump had a secret plan to do things completely differently than he’d agreed to do - because you had a Trump government source telling you so after the fact, and government sources are really trustworthy! Come on dude, we both know you see it. If there’s a week of this place let why not just admit it for once - you’ll feel so much better.

I read it the way you wrote it, which was based on the assumption that 15 minute cities means restricting people’s travel. It doesn’t - that’s just a conspiracy theory you were obviously suckered by. A conspiracy theory propagated by people who believe that any effort to build a better world for normal people is a liberal communist plot.

I don’t think you understand that a conspiracy theory and reality are not equal sides. I also don’t think you understand that asking you to judge yourself by your own standards doesn’t mean I accept those standards - it’s just asking you to apply a little intellectual honesty. And yes, obviously I know that’s asking too much but you never know, a Christmas miracle might happen.

And apart from the finer details, there's nothing in the report that wasn't already widely known. Trump knew Gaetz was a regular John when he nominated him. Trump knew he was a junkie. Trump knew he preyed on high school girls. Trump knew he bragged about it in the workplace.

Uh, yeah. I failed to consider you weren't talking about what a 15 minute city actually is because you obviously weren't talking about what a 15 minute city actually is. Come on dude, it's a real failure of yours to highlight that I never even considered that you might be discussing reality when you have already clarified that you are indeed discussing the conspiracy theory version. The government could fine you for any damn thing you could imagine. But here's the thing, and I want you to concentrate real hard because you might just be capable of understanding this one, just because you've imagined it doesn't mean it's a real plan that someone has. I mean damn dude, only you could post an article saying 'no that's not what a 15 minute city is' as evidence that you're right, that is what a 15 minute city is.

You think Trump didn't give the Taliban a year to plan for the withdrawal, didn't stop engaging them with US troops and didn't halt airstrikes against them, giving them the time and space to rebuild their strength?
