Yep great weekend. Great dropzone, great people and the best Day room af any DZ I have been to yet. I was in a foul mood because of all the gear checks and BPA regulations. What was I thinking? Great weather, awesome plane and very nice people. I think they have some more events coming up. I'll make sure I attend. Kris.

Unfortunately there is no footage other than a few seconds where I am spiralling down. I saw this just after I came down and I was very groggy so I don't recollect what I saw very well. When I came about, my main canopy was deployed...no line twists. I was right above DZ everyone else had already landed. After landing, I don't remember anything until I was at the DZ tent area. Only explanation is that I must have deployed it subconciously. No one mentioned that the collision deployed me. The impact was high on the head and right shoulder area(from the injuries). Kris.

Is the stall speed of the rigid wing higher in this case? Would that make it bad for BASE jumping. Kris.

There is no such thing as not being able to slow down horizontally or speed up vertically. It is usually a mental block that takes a bit of flocking to get over. Kris.

Well Kinda......The S3 is sold to a friend that flew with me at SDC. I have PF P + Js instead but they are in Italy after a trip to US and Norway(not with me). Kris.

I tkink the drag it would add would make it not worth the effort. We unlike airplanes do not have propulsion. Kris.

I jumped the intentional cutaway rig at a boogie just to fly a PD-176R(this is the reserve in my container). The canopy definately flies differently. The first time I practice flared it, it stalled. I did several more practice flares and was later able to stand up the landing. But if I was low and under that canopy for the first time, I would have definately injured myself. Everyone should do a practice jump on their reserve. Kris.

Dude, She is wearing a top, albeit something small. I thrust skydivers to be same all over the world. If that boob were totally exposed, there would have been about 4 guys with cameras in that picture. Kris.

Even though grabbing on to grippers seems like a habit to me...I have dropped them on occasion. Need to do that more. Kris.

I am posting what i think are mistakes I made based on the ZFlock and Dock videos. The idea is that everyone can post their own mistakes and or thoughts on how best to fix those posted by others. So here goes. 1) Knees below torso. A cuped postion as opposed to a more stable arch. 2) Arms above torso. Instead of bringing the arms inwards to reduce the amount of arm wing and keep the arms at the sides, I tend to throw the arms back. I think this creates instability. 3) Little bit or a lot of of exit hesitation. 4) Hangbackitis....I get to my slot but always seem to hang back a few feet farther than I need to get. I also wobble a bit but that should be fixed by fixing 1 and 2 and being relaxed. A little bit of practice should fix that. Did you see anything else wrong? Please feel free to point out. Kris.
