Ha, I found myself on a non-skydiving website
KrisFlyZ replied to kevin922's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Cool . I've seen that video numerous times before I started wingsuit flying. I used to spend so much time at Flybirdman.com and the Skydivingmovies /Wingsuit section. Kris. -
Depends on how much distance he covered Ed . Also 46-48 MPH(46mph is assuming a 1000' pull) can be a very good average based on the suit he was flying and his size. Kris.
-
Because you then get a Spacious car with a reliable motor. I prefer chevy anyway . Kris.

To pull the pins on the smoke canisters. Kris. -
Sounds like some very happy birdies . Flock On!! Kris.

Correction : It would be more Rossy-esque Wait it is Rossy-esque gone backward.

It was cool what Visa did. Kudos to the dude. Remove the wingsuit and use rigid wings. That way the fuel can be stored elegantly without having to use the water bottles.

Here is my Phantom in Halloween Colors Kris. Edited to include pic.

Please read what I said I am saying that an average of 160 mph forward speed in nil wind conditions, whatever the downward speed is, is not easy. He said 85 knot(97.9 mph) tailwind and an average of 260 MPH. Kris.
-
I don't think you can count windspeed but that is just my way of looking at things. As for flying aroung 160 MPH 'Calculated' average after removing the wind factor. I have my own thoughts on that. We can discuss those in a seperate thread of PM if you like. Kris.
-
Is it really important what the max airspeed rating is? The challenge for the pilot seems like it would be to maintain a steep dive with a slow forward speed(for the plane). Kris.
-
You can fall 12mph and move forwards at over 300mph. It's awesome. You'll need the Jet Engines for that one mate Kris.
-
I don't think there is a straight forward answer to that one. I am sure some interesting theories will be put forward. Kris.

I received my new Phantom this morning as I was leaving for work. I delayed just a bit longer and tried it on . Hopefully, I'll make some flights on it this weekend. Excited!! Kris.

Are you attracted to a certain race or ethnicity
KrisFlyZ replied to lawrocket's topic in The Bonfire
I know of two married couples(friends or thru work) where the Guy is white with blue eyes and the woman is asian. But that does not prove anything Kris. -
So you won't even leave the flying Beavers alone . What are you doing up this late anyway...don't you have to work really early or something? Kris.
-
That's a good idea as well.

I don't think there are any V-1 demo suits as such.....your best bet is to find an owner that is willing to let you try his/her suit. Voodew1 was offering to let people try his suit at some boogie if he is sure that the person can stand up every landing. I think his suit will fit you. Kris.

I had 400 quid(more to follow) worth of dental work done so no jumping for me for a while. Kris.

People you'd go gay (or straight, depending) for . . .

The one with the legs and the smile? She is HOT!! Kris. -
I meant someone should make a list of basic things like what are the requirements for starting wingsuit flight in various countries and post a sticky in this forum. This question is asked way too often. Kris.
-
I believe that is above sea level. It is 1200 m above LZ. Kris.
-
The statement I made above may not be true. I think it does not apply directly to this discussion because the stall speed we are talking about is horizontal. Moving forward at subterminal may have more to do with pilot skill than wing size. Kris.
-
I am pretty sure I cannot explain. That was based on a remark I heard. Experienced WS BASE jumpers want to share their thoughts on whether smaller suits start 'flying' faster ? Kris.
