Other than using AAA batteries the difference between the 101 and the 201 is that the data is not downloadable. I upgraded my ForeTrex 201 to software version 2.40 and it is not connecting to my computer. I replaced serial cables and tried it on 3 different computers before sending it back to Garmin to be tested/replaced. Kris.

I am glad the PC109 is being put to good use. It was just sitting it the original packaging and getting no airtime when I owned it. Paying for a V-1, A new BASE rig, and budgeting for 50 jumps at the holiday boogie and buying my way into the bigways

I am surely mixing people up. Not knowing either Bobby P or the 6'9" dude(someone(I think Jasmin) said he was getting 29 mph avg). Kris.

That is correct alteast in my case. Time is easiest thing to track. With no one to teach me, I was flying this way for over a 100 jumps. Flying is more fun than stalling. Kris.

Is this the guy from SA? 6'9" and under 200 lbs? Did you mean Paralog data Chuck? Or most likely you mean that he has the average from the jumptrack data. Kris.

Nice Story!! If I return to India in April, I will take up paragliding. That is the cheap way to stay in the air and find some Exit points to return to in the future. Kris.

I can speak 4 Indian languages and know quite a few choice words. If an Indian says "Vannakkam" (sounds like 'Wanna Cum'?") don't take offense. It is kinda like Namaste. Kris.

My Mirage with a Sabre2 170 and a PD 176R adds about 30 lbs(if not 30 its very close). Bigger canopies must add quite a bit more. Kris. -
