I guess the real answer is that a dz is the owner's sandbox and he can style it as he likes. High performance landing policy, drug policy (implementation not theory), level of adherance to BSRs, ghetto activity, are all policy decisions that affect the tone of the dz. They are all decisions that will affect the bottom line one way or another as people gravitate to dzs that are closer to what they want.

Cessnas. I have done AFF out of a King Air and one or two from a Beech-18. We used the 3 floater exit on both of those. Actually I just got a pm from a friend who has a lot of Otter AFF experience who will be here on Wednesday. He will be helpful. Thanks Derek.

On the dynamic exit is the reserve side front float or aft of the student with their leg grip hand crossing their body?

I have never done an AFF exit from an otter, nor has anyone else here. We will be doing them for five or six days starting Wednesday. I am wondering about instructors preferred exits.

It seems to me this only works if consumers are allocated carbon credits and forced to pay for extras. The big question becomes how do we allocate the credits? Is it X tons/anum/warm body or is their a starting point based upon current consumption? Does Al Gore get the same amount of consumption allowed before penalty as the homeless crack-head or is he special? Their needs to be a stick to go with the carrot.

Usually a group like this is first out. Often you will see the other jumpers moving aft in anticipation of their turn. Jumpers need to be educated to sit still in the front during a large drag off. Tandem masters who budge from the front during this type of exit deserve to be fired.

Moer importantly I think it is time to address reparations for the wrongs commited to the loyalists (Tories) during the revolution. Thousands of United Empire Loyalists came north to the loyal colonies during the American Revolution. Most of them had been mistreated by the revolutionaries and even by the suceeding governments. They were often physically abused, many had lost their prime breadwinner. Virtually all of them had property taken in violation of the laws of both the old and new regimes. Time to pay up Yankees! C'mon buck up! -

The problem with that idea is that America no longer has the ability to pay for what it consumes. China on the other hand is in the midst of a huge stimulus program which is causing domestic consumption to rise. China can be the producer and the consumer, they do not need the US to consume what they produce; not in the long run. That is the problem with all demand side economics. When Keynes was asked about the long run he said, "In the long runb we are all dead." Well Keynes is dead and we are not.

Buying tunnel time in 3 minute blocks is like paying tandem rates for all your jumps. The price per minute comes down rapidly when you buy larger chunks.

You might be able to muster a (weak) argument in a closed economy, but buying things from China is simply not the same thing as producing something they need.

Maybe a standard purchase contract along with a credit card number. The contract states he owes the balance upon delivery; you hit the cc. If it doesn't work you hit it again next month. I've done that with CCs that bounce for no show tandems.

I don't care which daughter it was, it is not ok to go after pols families. The shit her older daughter got during the campaign was unforgivable. Going after GWBs daughters was unnacceptable, going after the family of any public official should be off limits. The only excaption is to those who deliberately make themselves part of the decision making process (Hillary Clinton during WJC's tenure).

My mother found out that my nieces and nephews communicate with me more than her because of facebook and now she wants an account. My sister is less than excited about the idea. Mom probably won't be thrilled with my adherence to the FSM, but she can live with that. She really doesn't need to read about how much my 21 yr old niece parties. It just won't make her happy.

No, there isn't a right to protection from any type of crime. If there was every victim of crime could sue the government. Police services are a social program and are rationed according to financial considerations. There is however a right to protection from abuse at the hands of, or abated by, the the state. In Canada if you were abused at a church run, state sanctioned, residential school (for natives) you can sue the government. If you were abused by your father you cannot.
