Please post if you got it. When I left Panama city the wind was down and the pros were doing the first round of distance. Heath Richardson had about 322 ft (furthest I saw) JC had about 300 ish Lots of people were missing the 5 ft gates (the practice day before the winds were higher). About 43 pros turned up and 12 intermediate (only 11 intermediate competed).     Actually I am jumping the canopy for Atair. If I am somewhere and someone would like to try a 105 comp Cobalt and I feel their skill level will compliment their loading, then they are my guest. If you want to try one for an extended period of time or want a different size, try calling Atair and sending them the form. I have no information on the Onyx, but I think they should be able to send you a comp. cob. in the size you want.     Hey Chris I have high waters too. most other guys I've seen don't, theirs fit right. I just don't slide on my ankles. Never had any problems except for tearing the knees off of jumpsuits when I don't wear my motocross pants.     Got to be difficult? I have less jumps than anyone (barely 1000) in the competition except one guy in the pre-quals (everyone else had at least150% more jumps than me) I scored higher in my first pro level competition than others on traditional cross braced canopies. Aside from the top Pros that took zeros trying to go big , I was consistant in beating guys with close to my experieince on VXs, FXs and velocities. I think the cobalt is easier to correct mistakes during the swoop and still is capable of swooping further than any non cross brace out there. r "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

    There were 29 in the pre qualification and then that top 20 went to perform on the beach in public (20 jumpers one load)..sort of a public event.     The same can be said for persons that think it is "intellectual" or "morally right" to support anything that pours out of opposing view point (persons that watch Rush Limbaugh and know nothing about NAFTA the UN or IMF) .     5th Wyat Drews 4th Ian Bobo 3rd Chris...(I can't remember, he is associated with Airspeed and he flew really well) 2nd Nathan Gilbert (very consistent) 1st Heath Richardson (refuses to make a mistake) Yours truly came in 13th and my team mate Brian Moffet came in 15th out of 20 (however the difference in points between me and the higher place finishers was great). The best local boy was Eric Boyd from Spaceland at 12th and who had a very respectable 11th on the pre-qual. The winds were very tricky and some swoopers that put it all on the line did not receive any points when they could not reach the end of the course.     Came in 21st out of 29. Two pros bowed out of the finals so I am in (teamie Eric Butz came in 18th, but wants to work Saturday so I got a spot at the Finals tomorrow..woo hoo). Though I did not have any stellar rounds, I got no zeros.....
