The guy was obviously out of line for threatening one of the flight crew. But the bigger problem is, as many people suspected would happen, that the Patriot Act is being used outside of its original context. It was bound to happen. So many people who supported it from the beginning said it would not be abused because the purpose of the Act was to prevent terrorism. Sorry, but I should be able to look out my door and see animals in all stages of transition from one species to another, and from one genus to another. I think you ARE seeing animals in various stages of transition from one species to another. It's just infrequent that changes occur fast enough for you to see them in one lifetime. All my dogs are crate trained. It's completely worth the effort....they all love their crates now. When I got my last dog, we put a couple of our t-shirts in with her the first couple of nights. Sorry you feel like shit. Since I see sick people all day long, it's definitely to my advantage to take the shot. But if your job doesn't involve contact with sick people and you're healthy I probably wouldn't take it again if it made me sick once. Betting on luck can be aided by washing your hands often and not picking your nose (lol). People who really need the shot are old folks, people in poor health, people with pulmonary problems (asthma), people who live with someone in poor health or with pulmonary problems.
