    What quade said. There are a lot of things about skydiving that can affect blood sugar. Adrenaline will tend to increase your blood sugar. Adjusting doses of insulin (if you're a Type1 Diabetic) can be tricky and can lead to hypoglycemia if not managed appropriately.     That does suck...but I'm glad you were able to find out what the problem was. Basically, it works like this: each muscle of the leg is surrounded by fascia that fluid will not flow freely through. If you injure a muscle and there is hemorrhage or edema that causes swelling inside the muscle, that fluid increases pressure in the compartment and on the muscle and nerves.
