To all of the "After Birth" people, do you believe that there is nothing wrong with a partial birth abortion?
-
because "pro-abortion" means that you actively want women to have abortions. i would be willing to bet that most pro choice people don't actually want there to be any abortions. i don't like abortion and don't want to have a part in one, but i realize that it isn't my choice to make. i feel that this one should be left to the adult women in those situations and come judgement day, (if you believe in that sort of thing) they will have to settle this one with their maker. If I get your position correctly, you believe abortion is the ending of a life, but you believe women should have the choice to end the lives of their unborn children. Correct? Also, men should have no say at all in the termination of a pregnancy that they were half responsible in creating, but if the woman chooses to have the child, they should be 100% responsible for the financing of said child. So there is nothing wrong with partial birth abortion by your view. Correct?

I'll finally agree you you on something. Still doesn't give me the right to dictate what other people believe/do in their lives. What say ye about that Mr. Mark? I have three (grown) children alive. And they are a pain in the ass. But I wouldn't abort them. I think abortion the the ending of a human life and I'm proud to say that I am Anti-Abortion, but still fail to understand why people who don't believe this do not proudly say that they are "pro abortion" and that abortion should be used as a form of contraception. If you do not believe it is taking a life, what is "Morally wrong" with the procedure and why do they hide behind the "Pro Choice" label. The procedure is called an abortion and people should be for (pro) them if they think it is not a life and against (anti) them if it is not a life. the situation surrounding the pregnancy should not matter. it is either ending a life or not. In the case of the mother's life will end if the baby is delivered, it is a choice between 2 lives, kind of like the car is on fire and a parent and 2 kids are in the car and you only have time to save one kid. What newborn can survive without help?

Enough of this grey area stuff, what do YOU believe is the "Magical Moment" when life starts? edited to add that I voted conception.
-
So it is sometimes alright to end a life, if the situation is right? Or is it not alright to carry out a medical prcedure that does not end a human life in some situations? mark
-
Fixed it for you Dr.'s, everyday Joe(s), Priests, politicians all have different interpretations/beliefs as to when a fetus is actually considered a life. Unfortunately this is a very grey area, although some may see it as black and white.... I have my opinion, but I'm going to keep it to myself - not looking for a pro-life debate. g I don't understand the grey area, you either think life starts at conception, or at some other "magical" time during a pregnancy. If you think that it does not start at conception, more power to you, as I am not 100% sure when life starts. However, what bothers me is people that are for this 10, 12, 14 year old ending her pregnancy, or some poor person who can't afford to have the kid, but will not stand behind "abortions for convienience", and would look down on someone who has had 4 or 5 abortions. There is either absolutley nothing wrong with the procedure, or it is the ending of a human life. If you are one of the people who thinks it is just a medical prcedure, stand up and delair that your are PRO ABORTION, because abortion is the name of the procedure, which you think is not the ending of a life, and pro means that you are for something. Why do people feel shame or distain for people who refer to them as Pro Abortion, or for the procedure you thing people should be able to have? Stand up for what you believe in proudly. I believe that abortion is the ending of an innocent life, and the only time it should EVER be considered is if the mother would die if she delivered the baby, then it is a choice between one of the two lives, and while it is a tough decision, it is still one that should be allowed to be made. Fixed it for you Knowing your a adamantly pro-life, are you for or against prop for and why? I am for it becuase I think it will cause less abortions to happen, and the parents should know before a doctor takes the scalpel and vacuum cleaner to your grand son/daughter when their child is a minor.

Fixed it for you

I'm all for this one. I personally think that Jack Kevorkian was a bit of a saint.

And until that can happen, please continue to pass laws that will limit the amount of unborn being killed.

Risers from UPT are $150 a pair ($175 with Louie Loops) and are available in 19, 21, and 23". 21 is pretty much the standard size. We have also made 25 and 27 for some people upon request, but can not make them shorter that 19" because of the length of the reserve container. Give me a call or drop me an email if you have any more questions. markk@uptvector.com 386-736-7589 Mark Klingelhoefer

I have heard Bill Booth say ( and you should check for yourself if you have a Skyhook ) that if you have a rig with a Skyhook and you suffer a total of the main or a pilot chute in tow, do not cutaway; just go for the reserve only. Now, do not take that from me as being from the horse's mouth ( so to speak ) but check with UPT and see what they say. JerryBaumchen In this case, forget the SkyHook or the RSL because they do not affect the situation at all. If you have a total (Container Lock, Hard Pull, can't find you handle) what would you do? in this case it is a personal decision, and I've heard AFF instructors say both. Personally, I'm going through the EPs that I have practiced Thousands of times rather than "changing" it which could potentially slow things down and take more time. Granted, pulling the cutaway handle serves no purpose because your risers are not going anywhere if your main is still in the container. Mark Klingelhoefer

What entitlement programs would you cut, and how much would it save?
klingeme replied to kallend's topic in Speakers Corner
But congress would have to vote that it. I don't see that EVER happening. -
Looks like most of my Titusville peeps are not going so I think I'm going to skip it this year. Here's the updated list. I think if you work for Micky D's and while you might pay taxes, but you get every penny of it back at the end of the year, you should still have a right to vote.

"Just another Corny Bush picture."

I personally think that homeless people have a right to vote assuming they meet the "criteria", and I don't think one of those is a "roof above your head".

When your gear manufacturer's and big drop zones taxes get increased they will probably pass that cost directly on to their customers rather than taking the hit to their pocket book. Along with your walmarts and car dealers and everything else you use. Their taxes might go up, but their income will not go down, they will probably just pass the increase along to their customers.

It's not discriminitory if you are a straight majority white male. We are the only ones LEGALLY allowed to discrimate against. Mark Klingelhoefer
