I told my groups this semester that if they planned meetings for anytime on the weekend I wasn't coming I work 3 days a week, goto class 2. If you act competently and follow the directions of your instructors most likely you will do fine. The odds are in your favor that there won't be radio problems but even if there are you have been taught on the ground how to fly the canopy and what you should and shouldn't do. If canopy flight is making you nervous just follow your own thoughts and make sure to talk throughly with your instructor about the canopy protion of the jump before you go up. That will at a minimum make them know we aren't happy. If travel is your problem I am sure that you can have your issues raised via proxy by another party to the situation etc. The CEOs of the record companies didn't show up at every little hick town where they wanted to press charges against someone for downloading music. All the people who have had websites ripped off, pictures stolen, etc need to work together and deal with that part of it. Outside of that it will take a lot of work and the gathering of complaints from decieved customers. Sorry, didn't know that...But I don't think they will anyway. One problem with the USPa is they need to decide if they are an organization for JUMPERS, or DZ's. You can't serve two masters. The USPA has the GM program with is nothing more than a listing in Parachutist, and a neat piece of paper to hang on your wall. I don't think Skyride or 1800Skydive is increasing traffic either. It is making it easier (like it is hard to look in a phone book?). I don't like some of the practices of Skyride....Using names, pictures, ect. Stealing websites... All really bad. But the USP is not going to do anything about it. Call the BBB, or them and threaten to sue if they use your info, or work. Filming inside with low light conditions. I don't necessarily need to light up the whole place, but I don't like the "circle effect" you get for example with night vision. Iwan You could get a bigger infrared light. The reason you only see the center durring night shot is because the IR light on the front is small and crappy. A&W is ok but in all honesty you can't compare it to the glass bottled stuff. I can buy rootbeer by the keg at the Sprecher brewery in milwaukee. They also have "orange dream" by the keg too. Though I have never seen it outside milwaukee its made by a beer brewer. Tastes better than the super mass produced stuff.
