I have more jumps than that, however I have packed my own gear from around jump 16 on. In that time I have paid to have someone pack for me maybe twice and have had friends do it free a few times. I wish I could give you an answer about something free... but I use Nero Burning rom to make my dvds. Its cheap and will burn dvd structure. You just have to create the disc structure yourself. There are some listed on http://www.dvdr-digest.com/software/ that can do it, but I will evade recomendation because I have only used nero. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Probally the best thing to do. I love the concept of having another person pay my bills. There is some expense in renting out a home, but in the long run it pays off. Why else would so many companies do it. Bwahahahahaaa again. One or two jumps a weekend will keep you happy at first but once you have your own gear and a license you'll be wanting to jump a whole lot more than that. $20 a jump adds up when you're doing 5-10 a weekend. 5-10.... yeah... I am always of the mentality that you should dress to impress. The job that I have now I went to the interview in a suit. They hired me that day with the note of something like "Ok, you got the job, lose the suit" The point is, it was appropriate for the interview, improved confidence going in, even though its not the normal atire for this company. Where I work is a law firm and I dressed to impress the people I will be working for (Lawyers). It doesn't matter what the position calls for on an every day basis. Dress to be noticed and show that you know whats going on. I would rather be comfortable for 25 min on a caravan than cramped for 15 on a PAC. At least when I am doing 6 jumps+ a day and packing fast to make the next load all day long. I just want to add the sentiment that i have added in every other thread about this plane. I don't like it, too small inside. I was super cramped when I jumped it at rantoul and I don't like the idea of my DZ buying one. Your right, I don't disagree with you. A friend of mine flew a Saber1 150 ~1.3wl till well through 700 jumps and could swoop the shit out of it, he then progressed ST120, CF119, Velo103. I have used gallery for a long time for my website. It works awesome. The latest versions have VERY nice improvements. It used to be harder to upload pictures to it, but they have simplified most of the processes. Depending on the software available on your hosting provider there is a lot you can do with it. I used to be outside that limit, but am not anymore. This was due to jump number increase not a canopy change. I may go outside that chart again with my next canopy change which will probally come sometime next year but I am still not sure what I want my next canopy to be (Other than higher performance than my saber2 170) ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. That remains to be seen. He was a painter, sculpturer, mechanic, philosopher, militairy architect and mathematician. The pursuit of flying machines was just one of his many endeavours. Based on the fact that the original quote probally wasn't in english, and what we have is a rough translation of something that was put down on parchment a long time ago, I don't think you can make an assumption about it "sounding" like he wouldn't have or would have said. You see because you do certain things then you think it won't happen to me. Same thing the inexperieced pilot thinks when he buys the small elliptical canopy. Not really. All you can do is mitigate some of the risk. Try to lower your exposure to things that can kill and/or injure you. Does everyone really have the "It won't" mentality? I don't know. Mine is more of a "It could happen to me but these are the things I do to keep it from happening" I think that is a MUCH safer attitude than just going forward figuring your always gonna be ok and it will always be the next guy over. Quite frankly, it CAN happen to you but there are things that you can do to help prevent injury, though now and then you just get screwed...
