It's been a while since being pie'd. That goes back to jump 100. My oh my...the memories in skydiving.

Sweet Chris. Wish I could have done the outside work for you guys!! Haven't seen you since SOBE but I hear you guys are having a great time lately. Nice pics to keep the vibe alive! Dave

The apartment inspection is the responsibility of the landlord. This is the case in New Jersey anyway. If I don't inspect the apartment before hand and collect a deposit - I am totally screwed. If the carpet was bad when you moved in, and like Nightingale said, "possibly out of warranty", then the leverage is in your favor. Particularly if the landlord does not have proof of an inspection prior to your occupancy. Break out the big guns weegegirl, I think that you should fight it. Filing a complaint with the court before the Landlord does will also be in your favor. The courts in my area go through Landlord-tenant hearings in high volume (about 100 per week). The majority of them are landlord plaintiff and a tenant defense. If I were you, I would be the one to make the first move; lawyer or not (but I would certainly advise one). Good luck.

That's cool dude. I felt that way about someone once too and just may again. Hang on to that feeling and treat each other with the upmost respect and empathy. Relationships get more challenging as they go, not easier. It's awesome that things are happening for you guys; hang on firm and relaxed just like a skydive. I can't help trying to help out of experience...just keep feeding it and try learning to understand each-others' needs bro.

I just don't think that this post makes the world a better place.

You might be a redneck if you think safe sex is a padded headboard....

I'm sure that there will be enough MC guys doing some organizing to persuade a jump or two in tube-hybrid style. Lets just get some experience on these so that they make nice eye-candy for the cameras!
-
Take your time picking stuff out. Go with what you like....the style of the gear, reputation of customer service and the hardware itself. Talk to riggers about the more important items like canopies and containers. But in my opinion, here is my opinion on freefly/skydive stuff: container: javelin or mirage or voodoo aad: cypress canopies: PD helmets: bonehead composites or skysystems freefly suits: Kurupee alti: any will do...they all have about a 7 year lifespan goggles: keep it simple, I use sunglasses cameras: sony

Now you're talking! You can bring a tube or we can ask MC if they have some old ones. If we go that route, I am doing the outside. No question.
-
Darn, I would sooo love to be a part of that.
-
Yeah, dude. What Freefly-Bella said!!! Come see us at the DZ - we'll all be there jumping away. We can put together some jiggidy-wiggitty-figgitty loads!!!
-
That's cool.

These are all pretty cool. A good airbrush job has the ability to mystify any image. I can't believe some of this artwork people are posting - cool stuff!

My first solo was a stand-up. Not relative with anyone really close but it was fun. I don't want to bash any flat-flyers or ambi-skydive flyers out here, but why do anything else? I don't know. Just jump and innovate. Not much to do for innovation on a 2D plain. IMHO.

Dude, I don't even begin getting the family involved anymore. Atleast you are getting questions still! After a while, I began hearing, "I used to like _____, what happened to her." or "You shouldn't have let that one go, I liked her." My belief is that relationships are for NO person to judge or influence; all except for the two people involved with one-another. I simply began telling my family that it isn't they who is getting involved with them - particularly intimately. That shut them up quickly.

Hey! Where did you find that? I usually keep it on file and just change the names around everytime. !!!!

It's true, these things could easily puncture through a roof and a few floors. Glad to say that I've never lost one. Came close...very close early on, but never lost one. At a DZ where it is legal to do so, freeflyers exit with the skyball over designated areas. Exiting last or first is usually the drill. They also inform the pilot so that if a go-around is needed then it can be planned. Exits for skyballs are usually over heavily wooded areas, swamps, baron desert, the ocean, etc.. Flying a ball wasn't deemed a restriction in the US until about four or five years ago I think. Someone dropped a ball in the backyard of a man cutting their lawn and that was it for a lot of places.

Are you serious? First hangover and she's gotta buy beer? how ironic!

Champu, this line JUST reminded me of something. About two years ago, maybe more, I saw my first Comp-Sci professor from Rutgers on the CASA at Crosskeys. I remember asking him, "Are you a college professor?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Do you teach Intro to Comp Sci at Rutgers?..." Then proceeded to tell him how much I enjoyed his class. (Yeah right. It's one of those classes with 200 people and an instructor who couldn't possibly help you individually, but the 5 TA's would be glad to help.) At the end of the conversation, I remember him saying, "..so, now you jump out of planes?" I took pleasure in telling him that I do many things to balance my life. Computers are a way of earning income and jumping out of planes is a way to spend that income.

Don't really get to watch a lot of TV, but I hope that they were trying to sell the dining room set and not the bike.
