I keep wondering how many jumps that I will have when my numbers are exactly the same. Probably about 2300.

"We are the Nights of NNNNnnnee!" "Bring back... ...a shhhhrrrrubbarry!"

Way to put it kindly. I must agree whole-heartedly with Weegegirl. It's like the Leonardo Da Vince quote says dude!, you are SCREEEEWWWWWWED!
-
Yeah, it looks like a perfect example of an author taking an example of one extreme sport and generalizing it for the lamen community to relate to. Whatever. At least he writes well.

Nice horse bro. Best of luck with it.

Things I've learned skydiving that have nothing to do with parachuting

That's funny!!! As I recall, it was only last season that my truck pulled the skyvan out of the mud. -
Slow down killer

Damn dude, with all of that other shit... someone ought to check this guys closing pin.

don't go to sleep, you could slip into a coma (sp?) my doctor told me that once.

Yeah, why shouldn't I be? A few times I think. LOL Shouldn't we all have at least once by now. I am working on my 3rd-degree belt right now. Can you explain what "mastering" sex means? That's like saying that it is possible to master dancing, artwork, or philosophy. If you say you've mastered something then you'll stop learning about it. If you're perpetually learning then there isn't anything to accomplish but more knowledge. Dude, it's like surfing, waves, and the ocean. different beaches, different waves, different color water, different shades the sunset, etc.. You'll never ride in the perfect surf. ummm, 32, is that "Very OLD"? If I am old, then let me try helping you out here... you don't master sex bro, you just keep exploring it like an endless summer. no destination...just journey

Oh, did I forget to mention this. However, I don't foresee myself doing anymore teaching or providing advice in this area. In my opinion, you either have it or you don't!!! LOL
-
Always said that I would never be an EXPERT in any one thing. But I know a lot of shit about many different things... well, enough to survive and prosper. I'd feel comfortable giving advice on these few things (and more): construction work, computers, cooking, freeflying, personal philosophy, business and money management, health and fitness, travelling to certain places, and the list is growing.

Hell yah dude. We friggin rock the house. The Marine Corps was the most proficient work (or wartime) environment that I have ever experience. There is a good reason why it took about 1-year of civilian time for me to adjust back to the laid-back mentality of the world after getting out. Frankly, it isn't surprizing to see that these guys practice the best interests of our country (and do it proudly). That is what we were there for in the first Gulf issue and thats why we're there now. USMC will always continue to be a primary combat organization for the US. Helllllll yeah....represent.. Aoooorrrroooooooah!!

horrible... this will never stop happening
-
...only once or twice, but it worked out for me well both times... (Ba Dump Bump!!) No, really I don't, but I kinda like it! It's huge. The best beds are king and high!!! This one seems to make the grade on that one.

I'm like that dude 'Swoop' from Dropzone the movie. I don't talk to people until they jump with me and prove themselves good enough. hopefully, most of you know that this is not true
-
...I don't know... something about a chicken, eggs, and hatching... hmmm
-
Your toast girl. You are talking about nudity, a man and women, in the skydiving community! I would say that in a room (or forum) full of ballet dancers (both men and women) that you would have a fighting chance. But here, even half of the girls are going to vote against you just for the anarchy of it alone.!!! Better start prepping now. post 980

Should I sue/ What do you think?
Vertifly replied to dubbayab's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yeah, but for this dude it's right here in the USA. -
I'm a landlord several times over. Take it to court. Where I live the only leverage I have with tenants is to get them to rent and 'pay me on time'. I collect security deposits too. **The only way for me to withdraw ANY money from a deposit is to (1) talk to the tenant about the discrepancy (2) agree with them on the problem and the cost to fix it (3) and both agree on what is owed. or (4) convince the court that I deserve some deposit money. I hate to say this because, in this case, I am on the wrong side of the fence. It WILL take a court order for them to take that money from you. What do you have to lose? Sue them for the full deposit, court costs, and whatever you feel like is deserved? Perhaps some of the lawyers here can elaborate.

I didn't even log a 1000th. Can't tell you which jump that it was either. So sad. Logging for me is all about the audible memory device baby! I know, that's bad.

Should I sue/ What do you think?
Vertifly replied to dubbayab's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Don't do it dude. In case you haven't noticed, this sport is the most popular one in the world. It is only a small community of us who have made the decision to make skydiving a part of our lives. We understand financial difficulty, but I would simply ask you to look at the big picture. She threw herself out of a plane. She new that terminal velocity is 120mph (at minimum) in freefall. Is saving her life and/or keeping herself safe from injury her responsibility??? - 100%?? You work in the sport. Take a look at how much good you will do by sueing and then take a look at how much bad you will be doing. You withdrawl from the sport has the potential to affect thousands of people in a negative way. I doubt that you will find much support for this here.
