recording freefall time and freefall speed
phoenixlpr replied to ironmule's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Sure. We need correct measurement. Where should I mount a Pitot tube? -
Why do you think that has anything to do with quality control? Having a statement like to about a canopy you have not even jumped? ops... I had about 400 jump on those specra lines e.g. ... they might not shrunk evenly... I don't blame the canopy for that. Its only my fault if I let things develop from bad to worst....

I guess that is the reason why airplanes don't use wrist mounted altimeters either.... And which barometric altimeter gives you 1 foot sensitivity? So what? My Neptune indicates e.g. -16m after I have landed although I'm a WS flier and no mole. -

E.g. a gps logger. I use WBT-201. It can log by sec. -
Its getting even more pathetic....

Jump numbers do not bring skill or even common sense. He was right: you should find other goals than swooping tandems.

Thanks!

Hiall, Does anyone know where can spare parts ordered for Reflex H/C from? Does anyone support those rigs out there? Manufacturer seems to be out of business.

You accuracy is depends on how good you are flying your pattern.
-
You can search from this forum.
-
Accuracy is not about the canopy. Demo them if you can. Anyway Pilot has better glide and that would give faster approaches too.

Do you remove your slider every jump?
phoenixlpr replied to everymansaved's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Why do you think that any company would test their RDS with that size of Katana you are flying? There is an usual warning with RDS that your opening can be worst than it was with stock slider..... -
4-8 years inspection does not include changing of the battery, so you have to change or get it changed.
-
I would not split either. Having your own listings and some extra medals can be a nice motivation for women.
-
I have received a small booklet with my device returning from the 8 years inspection, there were rather detailed with what they have done. I can scan it if I can find it.
-
You can have a small pouch with a ribbon on your neck under the suite.
-
Why to put there? It has enough sensitivity from any pocket of yours....
-
Thanks! Now I have lots of backups.

If you do not know how to pack a pullout, ASK!!!!!
phoenixlpr replied to Para5-0's topic in Safety and Training
There could be a good reason to have pull-out. Like speedskydiving, I have heard that spandex BOC might release over 400km/h. I think you would exchange the risk to having a not-cocked PC than having a premature opening with free-fall speed over 400km/h. -
Bingo. I was barely using, because the connection to my Neptune was piss poor. I don't blame paralog for the connection.
