    You don't even know so why do you state anything??? The fact that it does not have port for downloading does not imply that it would not log.... Optima + Viso would work better than Optima + Neptune, because they are sharing the hardware too. I usually have 10-30m meter difference indicated between my Neptune and Optima.

    That's irrelevant. There is no strong connection between weight, height and how a gear fits you. Try as many gears on the ground and suspended from the 3 rings. What you need to know is the length of the main lift web that fits you. So MLW size is depending on your torso. I use MLW 17" if I remember right. You can also check leg ans chest strap length and leg strap padding length. Those add some comfort.

    I'd say that having a reserve canopy trailing after you is more scary that you have not done the control checks before hard deck. There is not hard deck in this case just sh1t and deep sh1t, because your reserve is compromised.

    I have a Neptune, but I use it as visual alti. Optima is the best audible I've used so far: 4 freefall profile with 3 alarms + swoop guide.

    I've compared with my old line-set. New Dacron is a bit thicker, Its about 1 cm difference around locking stows. My canopy does not packs bigger than before.

    I was told to fly steep angle down, there should be a sweet point before going vertical. On the day before yesterday I was flying formation with a guy just past FFC. He has smililar build like me. He had arm position quite in the back, delta style, but he had amazing forward speed too. The freefall time was almost the same as mine going alone and more floaty. There should be some other way to fly like atmonauti.

    See Top Rings (was Mine?) Tonto's post has pictures too. I've been using those rings for a year. Its much easier to work on rears with this configuration. It might have some side effect: it can be hard to reach your toggles if you let them go and you have extra long risers.

    Very well said. If he(she?) did not have the suit of his(her) dream I'd recommend some suit like Birdman Impact. They have amazing performance and fun to fly. That can be the closest thing to wing suit flying and they can be in a flock. I got some flocking with Impact flier in the base. It was great fun and challenge to fly formation with her. Only a snob would not fly with Impact fliers. Who cares about freefall delay and performance if you can flock?

    One with "C" license -licensed skydiver- in Finland allowed to use a main canopy from some list( square/ tapered) < WL1.3 . Notice that clubs are close to the see level.

    Flying is not about numbers. WL is only one parameter of the equation, there are lot more.

    I got my Triathlon relined with Dacron recently. I like it.

    If a canopy does not flare as it suppose to be thats an issue for me. I would not use non-collapsible PC on any of my gear.

    Even a Triathlon160 flies better with chest strap loosen.
