Can it be some simple device using VOR or NDB? But still dont want to fly IFR with wing suit.
-
It can be handy if you only see forest and a big lake under you. Welcome to Finland!
-
When you break through even a light haze you may loose your only reference, the sun, than try to find the right hole in between.
-
And what is that suppose to be?
-
You arent a flyer. Ground track is useless in the sky.
-
It might not work. If I leave a beer on the ground someone would drink it.

Has anyone some idea or cool gadget for providing some aid for flying among clouds? I know the trivial hint: don't fly. Do you have anything else?

I sware that I never use a fast canopy in 2001. I have been jumping a size 105, WL 2.0+ since this May. Never say never.
-
Well, well, interesting choice.

??? 16 stones? That's almost 254 lbs with gear. Ops.

"Retrimming" a Tri to match up with lightnings.
phoenixlpr replied to DougH's topic in Canopy Relative Work
I got a Tri160 with Darcon lines for that purpose. I'm happy with it, a bit boring, but a good life saving device. I'd rather leave it as it is. More nose down trim, more speed, better flare. -
I've seen that too.
-
If you try to flare with them it would hurt... Only downside I can think is pulling more breaks than using the dive loops. I don't think its about dare. Its OK if your break lines are long enough and your canopy is not buffeting when your are using fronts. Using fronts in the beginning of learning how to swoop is important, you can learn how your canopy is react, how fast can it recover. You may need 3 things to get a nice swoop: get speed, bring it down and use it for level flight. I can agree that it would not be easy to make your Sabre dive on your WL and keep it in dive specially using double fronts. You may have less fight with a canopy with a bit longer recovery and under bit more WL. Take it slow, have it safe!
-
Sure I can. I usually spend 70-120 seconds under canopy on WL:1.7-2.0+. I do not have 80 seconds to solve a line twist if I have one. There is not time for any experiment if you have a malfunction.

That company wants to make money. Simple. Would you blame Tony Suits for making jump suits for the dark side?
-
I use it with wing suit.

There is a chance to have a knot from your hackey with the bridle over the PC. You may search for those pictures.
-
Been there, done that. As it was already told use some tape and cover the hole.
-
Yes, please!

Do you know what would make you an exceptional pilot? Just not getting into that sh1t by your own choice require using your supernatural skills..... Your life can be quite short to make all mistakes done by others before. There is no cure for constructive stupidity. I have seen someone like you under a Demon 150, crossing the way of a taxiing Let-410, than skining his leg by doing cartwheels on the tarmac apron through a wing suit.
-
Sure. You are looking for trouble. You would not have these kind of trouble jumping those canopies you should have.

Renumbering Jumps in Alti-track and Jump-Track?
phoenixlpr replied to TheCapt's topic in Gear and Rigging
Sound like my ProTrack. I got no issue like this since I use my Neptune. -
You'd rather leave as long lines unstowed as the diagonal of your d-bag.
-
She has more than 1000 jumps. What's your next move kid? Vector2 and freeflying is no go. Mods? Hell no. Get something better.
-
You can do it some other ways too. Other way.
