Wrong . BEEEP. You life is depending on your reserve, my friend.

I have a ProTrack inside my Z1. I can see 300m on my alti when my ProTrack indicates the same.

I'd like to have the amount of free time you have.

I got 2 twist from opening a not-perfect position. I've grabbed my handles, but it was flying stable, so I've kicked out. My WL is about 1.3-1.4.
-
Sure. I did it and I can do it any time.

Manufacturer's recommended wingloading, on the low end

Sure. I`m confused. :) -
Yeah, I was told these kind of stories. I have packed most of my student jumps too.

Wow! Thats a great post!

Really? How about Navigator? Does it have a good reputation? I've broken my ankle with a Nav220. I have not demod Pilot before I've bought. I have not regret either

I think cross-braced are not the entry level elliptical.... Stiletto is starting from WL 1.2 :). -
I don't think so. Swoopers go for hop'n'pop too. I don't care what they think. I go. A hop'n'pop is a jump too and better than sitting and watch the sky or others jumping.
-
Some people thinks hop'n'pops are for student and accuracy jumpers.
-
I donno, but I do know that most of the people does not want to jump hop'n'pop after leaving student status. I had some fear with low exists. IMHO the only way to go is practice.

It depends how loose it is. One of my friend had his shoulder dislocated and got operated too. He could hurt his weak shoulder by skiing/snowboarding, so it was loose again. He has started his SL course and dislocated his shoulder by the first jump. He claimed it was the wind. I guess he made a nice swing with his left arm and that was enough for his shoulder.

Welcome to Europe! We don't use packing machines, we do pack :). OK. In most places ....there are some exceptions like East-Europe or Russia. I was a really slow packer as a student, because of me and the fact that my instructor was the only person who could check/supervise my packjobs. Nowadays more and more people pack slower than me . What is the difference? Maybe that 250-300 packjobs I've done since than.

In my reading it's more about coating a non-ZP and not about recoating a ZP.

Don't worry. HP canopies are out there, they are going to correct AAD's mistakes. -

Is underloading by 0.06 or 0.02 a big thing? -
I've seen them melted. I think some heat source was used like matches or lighter.

I think every canopy has its performance envelope. You are simply out of it. I don't think it would affect stability in turbulence. Can you notice a 0.06 or 0.02 WL change on any other canopy? How about using a weight belt/west? -
Have you read reviews from the gears section?

I used to use my closing pin. It was a pain with that. I started using an utility knife. It needs just a gentle touch on the surface of the rubber because it has some tension inside. You have to be really left handed to damage your canopy, because you have the rubber bands on the d-bag. Be careful! You make slice and dice your D-bag and or your fingers.
