??? A reserve on a raft is not an incident I think. I've heard stories about giving a jump to a cat. You need a cat, a PC and a brick. Attach the cat to the bridle of the PC and the brick to the cat. If you skip the brick the cat will climb on the bridle midair and collapse the PC .... and die.

Last year I gave first aid a first timer having the same kind of injury I had 3 years ago. It was a strong feeling.

:) You could`ve protected yourself with a ski mask. I`ve seen it from others jumping with openface helmet. Ther were taking a ski mask when they`ve seen the situation require it.

I would consider accuracy/demo(CRW, WS) a skydiving discipline. Read my previous post again.

I think its just an indicator that the plane has reach stall speed. Are you a lawyer?

Having several rig because of different disciplines is OK. I won`t keep a second rig for any other reason.

It can be quite cold. Other reason is about ATC: 10000ft is call FL100. Transponder is usually required, I dont think you want to jump with a transponder :). So If I want to be a higy opener in a caravan load I`m allowed to open under 1800-2000m.

Why do you need a backup rig? If situation is not acceptable I simply don't jump with any rig.

I was listening the stall horn yesterday much........... I dont think its the right way to climb.

Ive read specs. Mfgs recommend: Prodigy, ClassicII or Gti. Prodigy looks cool and simple. I`d rather start with that.

It`s recommended to maintain some line tension all the time. I`ve played and tried everything with a big F111 and it had a non collapsible PC. I would not do the same with my currect canopy with kill line PC. I think its not recommended to do any negative or 0g with a canopy loaded more than 1.0WL. I was told that canopies are limited by design so you can not do a loop and fall into the canopy and getting wrapped.

Sometimes yes, I have my limits and no after effects and residue on the next morning.

Trying to beat me? 2 in 12 hours. First was a packing mal of a 200jump wonder (1600 hour load). I donno what was the cause of the 2nd (0700 hour load). Thats was my only 2 jumps on that rig. Yeah, it was not a confidence builder.

It depends: landing and crashing in is a bit different. If I have to land on a pond I`d do as it would be solid ground , so canopy over my head.

First of all why do you have to make a decision between ground and pond? Being in the worst place in the worst time?
