You might get some ideas from here.

I hope that few could be couple of hundred. Try to show some respect for canopies before they start to teach you some. You are mistaken if you think that the limit is the sky. Your limit is the ground. Broken wings heal long.....
-
I hope you could find some canopy between Navigator and Stiletto.
-
Don't ask me. I have not ever been to US.
-
Relax. You can fly even a lighly loaded elliptical conservative way or crash with a Navigator like I did. You don't know him.
-
I`d rather wait 40-50 jumps and buy than. Anyway I know some fellow skydivers having 120,135 sqft [square/Sabre] canopy for the first around jump number 60-80. They are quite light and their WL is under 1.2 I guess.

Pilot`s pilots unite ?

It was kind a fun to see 2 planes with GPS ( C207 & C208 ) flying in formation for dropping a 20 way RW group into a bad spot, side and downwind and most of the experienced and instructors were onboard. The off-landing rate was 5/22.

Its funny to read your post. You have to demonstrate spotting for B license in Finland (~jump nr 40).

Focus! He does not want to fix or patch or anything but jump only.

Replacing the existing system with something more complex will cause more harm than before. I had 5 reserve rides so far. From that 5 I had my main hanging from the RSL in 2 cases. So ? Does it mean anything?

Hey! He is a user/skydiver student and not a rigger. Don't give kids a knife ..............!

How many jumps, cut-away, fatalities like that by year worldwide? I don't think that is a real issue. This article does not indicate practical knowledge about rigs. Troll ?
-
How about iron it? I see you are the man of tidiness. Don`t worry so much, just pack, jump, land and do it again.
-
How about this? FRWD O200 It would be nice to have audible feedback for e.g. glide angle.

Are there any con's to having colour coded lines?
phoenixlpr replied to Newbie's topic in Gear and Rigging
There are 2x7 or 2x9 packing tab on the top surface of the canopies, one tab per cell/tunnel. Its for flat packing. -
Ok. Try to keep focusing packing your canopy and nothing else. I have seen a missing altimeter dropping out from a tunnel of the canopy in flight on a video :). I have almost packed mine once, but it was quite hard and it was found before bagging.

Jumping while chewing gum = bad idea, right?
phoenixlpr replied to Jeth's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I usually take chewing gum before flight. It help equalizing the pressure. -
It's so nice there are some situation when we can ask a woman's weight without insulting her :).

Ah. You don't have to go so far. I don't think that you have to paint the whole line attachment to that color. I have seen a navigator having color codings: it has a 2-4 mm^2 dots on the side made with a soft pen. I think that is safe and it helps to recognize which line group that line belongs to. -
What were you thinking during your first pull time?
phoenixlpr replied to ntrprnr's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
101, 102, 103, 104, 105, its time to pull I`ve heard "KATT", the old mechanical AAD connected to main main has fired. -

Yes of course . They are too easy to propack form a newbie. I have a Pilot with those, I feel sad seeing students packing Navigators without those. -
Where do you put your slider on packing?
-
You should be kidding or provocative to want a 9-cell elliptical for yourself. E.g. you can not have any elliptical canopy unless you have more than 250 jumps in Finland.
-
He should be a troll.
