Before Pro-track it was just guessing :).

Introductory jump, just subterminal, because the material is stretching. It could be some reason why the price is just 995Euros.

Do you know many jumps you have on your Cypres1 batteries

Whatever, not even close to this either. 161 jumps anyway. -

I do know, but I think it does not matter. I won't exceed 1000jump in two years time. -
Been there, done that. I've tried a gear. I've cut away the main. ...... I've bought the rest of the gear at the original price.

petition for exemption to the 120 day reserve repack cycle denied

I've seen the lable of the PD-Reserve. There is a form about "X" and "-". How about if you feel it up? Do you have to send back to PD for inspection? -

From Paratech/Speed 2000 Manual: As mentioned above, your Speed 2000 reserve must be inspected by qualified personel before it is used for the first time and before every repack, no matter if it was used or not. The periodic inspection and repack cycle for this Reserve Parachute is 12 months. Other countries may have different regulations, so please check with your responsible organisation. -
What do you expect? Check, check and overcheck again? IMHO peeking pins has nothing to do with safety.

Yeah, packing is a religion. Wow. So you arm the slider, PC and set the breaks right after landing ond the field, don't you. 2 mins, wow that is something!
-
Why to fix something that is not broken?
-
Practise flat turns! It can save your ass.
-
I made about 500 packjob on square mains(no tandem) without these tricks and any lineover. I don't think it is necessary.
-
I think it is not so serious. Most jumpers around me started or jumping with PD Sabre. Most of them are not complaining about hard openings.

Quote Quote Can you do full altitude hop and pops at your dropzone? Getting out there and flying the crap out of your canopy while at a safe cutaway altitude is a great teacher...MarkM Im not sure if they allow this ? Ive never seen or heard of it being done at any dropzone Ive been to. Is there a chance you could have an off landing by deploying so high up ? I think what I would really like to do (and should do) is a canopy course. *** It depends. I can have 2000-2200m hop'n'pop any time in our club. If I want to leave/open higher we have to contact pilot/ATC too. I can remember CRW dogs were jumping from 3000m. If you go for hop'n'pop high consult with an instructor about your spot. I would do it in clam higher winds and warm conditions.
-
So are you going to have that surgery?
-
High winds. I was not sure if I had enough altitude to finish it, but it was no escape on the left side if things going wrong. I did a flat turn to the right instead.

You had to start trust your pack-job. There is no other way to get know it was right than jump it.
