  1. They might have a different control range and they have to be landed a different way. They don't plane out. Nice game to have a soft landing without stall.
  2. Why don't you go and get a rig with some ~200sqft F111 7 cell main canopy? You might learn more about stall that way if you are so concerned about them.
  3. Yeee. That is a strait and perfect solution. What a freedom you have! Sure that is the right way to solve attitude problems.
  4. I live in Finland. We might in the following 5 month too. I'd prefer snowboarding instead if the weather allows.
  5. I think you have too much time in hand. I used my Cricket reserve, because I had no other choice. It was overloaded too. So? I have landed in the right place with a soft tip-toe landing.
  6. You can try East-Europe or Russia. I'm not sure if you can find air-worthy ones. BTW they have a bad reputation, because a 2 out where PZ-81 is one of them is really bad. A triangular is not flying nicely together with a square. They kill each other. Some experienced got more experienced trying it. There is a really strong "CUT THE MAIN AWAY" in the manual. It does not have a free-bag. It does not glide as good as a square and not as reliable than a square, but its an airfoil and it can be flared.
  7. Its quite odd to see Parafoil in CatIII. I have started with old accuracy canopies.....like that.
  8. http://www.flightconcepts.com/7cell.html I can remember too, I have read 220 lbs from the label.
  9. Come on! It's 2005. Round reserve in sport is only for pilot bail out rig. I had 3 rides on PZ-81, a triangular reserve. I would rather choose that than a round reserve.
  10. I hope you have a really good insurance policy. I have started to fly my Pilot150 @ WL 1.25 at jump #177. BTW I have broken my ankle with a Navigator220 ~WL 1.0 at #87. Good luck! You may survive it.
  11. How long and where? I think they belong together.
  12. Really? How simple! How would you like this piece of advice 3900 jumps before?
  13. Check their site. Previous canopies have different pricing. I don't think the difference is coming from the labor costs, different, cheaper material.
  14. Its not about because its smaller. The maximum suspended weight for Maverick is 220 pounds. You should not be heavier than 220 lbs with gear for that canopy.
  15. It was many years ago. Mplayer on linux uses vindoz dll for playback. Its not a crack anyway. Its just OFF.
  16. Have you tried mplayer under linux? Or even the backported version on win32? Its playing better than the WMP.
  17. I have not stated that. And its not about the panform of the canopy, just the material. Hybrids are not the best, they are just a compromise.
  18. BTW if you have a healthy scalp it can support your weight. I've seen an attraction in a circus. I'd rather carry a really sharp knife if I were you.
  19. MSW is 220 pounds on the Maverick. So its not for you.
  20. Come on! Do you homework! Go check and compare max suspended weight under a ZP and a hybrid! You can do 2000+ jumps on a ZP, 500-600 jumps on a low-cf. Is the ZP harder to pack? Stop whining and learn how to pack. Or make up your mind and buy your hybrid.
