  1. I have jumped Cessna 172,182,206. We have a C172 in our club. Others don't like is so much because its quite slow, but I think it does not reallt matter for a 1000m jump.
  2. Notice, those guys are langing their main from full flight or from a hook turn. If you practiced go ahaed, but if you just seen that it could be really stupid thing to do. A repack of a reserve is still simpler than a lower brake line replacement.
  3. Me too. I had really shitty exits. It was so easy to watch the plane after having a relaxed and nice exit into the wind.
  4. In other countries a licensed skydiver can pack a student's canopy and supervise a student's packjob or teach a student to pack with the method authorised by the local STA.
  5. I guess you have found some termals. AFAK turbulence is caused by objects, trees, buildings. It's better to avoid it.
  6. Because of the traffic code. No problem. You might not get a registration plate, but you can drive on your on propety only. I've heard that even a monkey is allowed to drive in some state of USA..... Back to skydiving AFAK there is not FAR, SIM, BSR or whatever about canopy colors.
  7. IMHO slice and dice won't help you. Your canopy would be in full flight, but you can not flare with brakes.

  15. Z1 does not produce anything, because Z1 is a product and Parasport Italia is the manufacturer. Check Helmets, Head Gear and Goggles: Parasport Italia. Z1 is a fullface.

  18. I think you made your decision and thats not questionable. I'd rather cut it away. I know from experience that even an uncollapsed PC render my landing to funny from soft. I'm not sure if I want to try if one brake is set, other is in unknown position and I have to play with rear risers....
