AAAAHHHH......MARK......I LOVE YOU! These are some of the best pictures I got of my jumps this weekend. My boyfriend (bless his heart) tried to fly stills and his view finder thingy was off. I stood on the strut facing my guy, he fell on his back, I fell on my tummy....and the best part was I didn't even flail. He was surprised and I was smiling with 2 peace signs but got a bit on my side when he snapped the pic...... Well just great, maybe when we go out of the balloon I will feel the falling thing since I won't have a distration - although there will be a camera in my face again and we all know YOU HAVE TO LOOK COOL for the camera.... I can't wait to see the boogie video cause I know I have a CHANCE of being on it a few times. I was more scared at the THOUGHT of the chopped jump because of what I was TOLD....once again, don't believe everything you hear. I did not get that "losing the tummy" falling feeling at all and although I may have had the "death grip" on the seat for the first few minutes, there was too much to see and I relazed without realizing it......Then it was time to jump, over the gorgeous green waters but not only that, I had my big hunky man fall out a second before me and had him to focus on instead of the group rush

She is newly on her head (lucky duck)but together we click and who wants to do solos in THE KEYS @ Taz.....thanks for the comment my friend. Yup Yup...I am one determined little mo-funky for sure. And now that I did the chopper (and wasn't even skeered ) I am REALLY anxious for the balloon jump. The chopper was cool just because of the awesome view we had but I am guessing the balloon will be twice as awesome because of the peaceful silence of it. We are SO getting video of that one.....My guy tried like the dickins to fly his still (first time in years) but his "dot" was off a bit so we got lots of feet shots ...no worries, I got ALL KINDS OF video. Well not only did I work my ass off with my continued headdown efforts but it was all done THIS weekend over gorgeous Marathon Key. Made some BAD ASS jumps with some GREAT people and feel much more confident that within the next handful of jumps - I will be "there". Well me and the man drove our happy little butts, in the rain down to the Keys on Thursday night. Water was standing everywhere and the clouds were still humming up top but the fun started the minute we pulled into the hotel and saw the likes of SkyVan Rob, CReW dog Keith MacBeth, the one and only Rob Stevens, Harry, Wendy and Kendra. So many smiling

Well The Keys was NOT SUCKING for sure! Arrived Thursday night to a rain soaked Marathon Key but woke up Friday morning to the clearest, brightest blue skies I've ever seen. Greg and I were up, out and ready to play at 7:30am...and were the first ones manifested for the first load. Despite getting rained out yesterday...or so we think seeing as how we left at noon and it didn't stop raining until we hit Miami, we had a BLAST....BLAST...BLAST. I will be talking about it ALL OVER dropzone for the next few days I'm sure. Met up with TONS of old pals, made some new ones and hit ALL KINDS of FIRSTS!!!! First jump in Keys - first load, first Helicopter jump, first beach jump, first 3 way headdown jump with ALL GIRLS..... IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND and I can not WAIT to see the video. Jumped with Mike Meyers and DJ (from Cross Keys....both of whom were doing Boogie video stuff from what I could gather. I can't wait for next year.... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Yeah ya know.....when we are jumping out over the ocean, a good 5 or 6 miles from the DZ, who really cares where exactly we get dumped.....or where I lead all the "newbies" . First out rocks!!!! I did .....although I didn't really have to rush. I;ve kinda been jumping like a mad woman since I graduated AFF in March. I sent in my "D" paperwork in early August, wited 4 weeks for official card and it STILL is not listed in the mag, despite it being in my hand for almost 2 months now..... It's all goody in the hoody.....as I get ready to leave for The Keys Boogie and with a little luck from the weather Gods, make my first beach jump. Everyone chuckles at me with my log book because it is not just a log of the jump, it is a whole marvel of things....who, what, weather, etc. and I also try to get someone who did the jump with me to sign it. Everyone thinks I have a ploy to gather names and sell them on EBAY ...hee hee. It is SO COOL to look back on it down the road so keep filling it out while things are fresh. I have noticed I am NOT as descriptive as I was in the beginning but I still fill my page with info. But instead of stuff like...."stable exit, 360 left, 360 right, backflip, wave off at 5,500, good canopy and landing, etc...." Now I put stuff like...."Headdown exit at sunset, released to sit and campfired with the gang, 2 awesome foot docks, break at 5, tracked and deployed at 3,500. Packed myself a fast little opening but had a sweet surf so all is good...Awesome weekend! And oh yeah, I draw pictures and everything. Keep going with your log book, you'll be happy you did one day - I bet ya!!!! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I'm thinking you guys will still have the trusty old caravan in Sebastian...we won't leave you completely high and dry but we may rub it in - about all the FUN you are going to miss.
