    well my boyfriend took me out headdown for about 30 jumps just so I could feel it and try to get my bearings but the "rule" was always to go right into my sit when he let go so not to cork (on those jumps I was normally hanging on for dear life ).......Then for about 30 jumps we would go out and he would make me let go to feel the difference but again, instinct was to get into my sit to stay with him. NOW for about 13 jumps I've been doing solos, all myself, trying all sorts of exits and just transitioning so I understand what it feels like to actually get headdown and not just be put there

    I did see Chris this past weekend for a brief second...he did a bunch of jumps with my little friend Clair last season and she was really happy. We'll see what happens. I'm going to talk to Mr. Brown this weekend and see if I can get some pals to do a jump or two with me and get video.....to see what is what. I want to make the most of coach jumps and I know I could still go out and work on my transitions....it's all good! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Funny you say that - just spent 30 minutes on the phone with my "hon" who said the same thing - "just ask the coach himself". Dave knows I am there every weekend (some times every day like this weekend) working my ass off and he has even done a few jumps with me (for fun) so he knows I am not joking around. I don't have much video of me on my head but I am going to talk to Dave THIS WEEKEND for sure...Makes sense and then we will see what happens. Dave's a good guy for sure, just also know (from seeing it with my own eyes) that because he is so good (and so nice), someone is always picking his brain. Sometimes I feel bad for those guys who are so good and so well-known (and so genuinely nice) ........................NOT Stayed tuned for scene's from the next "SunnyDee First Year Progression Continues" Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    I HOPE all the aircraft they've mentioned will be there................cause I'd really like to be one of the firsts to make a balloon jump.     Well I am still getting mixed reviews on when my 1 year anniversary is.....first tandem 1/26, first AFF jump 2/14 or Graduation Hop and Pop (first all by myself jump) 3/1 But yes, first year I will FOR SURE hit 300, and then some See ya in a few weeks!     That sounds great but I have Dave Brown at my DZ who in my humble opinion is pretty damn amazing, not to mention a great teacher...or perhaps it is just his method that clicks with me personally.

    OK, I'm sure lots of ya have seen my posts about trying to get headdown..... and then sorta getting headdown..... and now knowing I am headdown just not sure how good the position is looking. So my question is this - when is it time to suck it up and pay for some coach jumps? I've jumped with pals until I understood what headdown "should" feel like. DONE! I've been doing solos now, just transitioning to get there on my own. After my 13 solo jumps this weekend, I am pretty confident I can get on my head (some transitions easier than others). Just not sure how things are looking or if I need to do some things differently in order to make the most and "really get it".... Bla bla bla....you know what I'm asking. Is it time for coaching? Appreciate your suggestions

    Well I am 14 away from 300 and if I keep slamming jumps out like this weekend (13 ) then I'll blow past it before Eloy. Heck...maybe I'll be riding towards 400 at Eloy.....Right past Canuck's first year total of 330 ..... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Well originally I wanted to go just because I heard so much about the DZ and have been on a mission this year to see LOTS of DZ's................then when I started "playing" on dz.com and started talkign to so many great people, I really wanted to just meet everyone (and get pictures with each of them )....THEN since I have just been kicking ass with my jumping and NOW have a goal of hitting 300 jumps in my first year (330 actually now that CanuckInUSA challenged me ) I thought I could combine all my goals and get them all done in Eloy....See an awesome DZ, meet my new pals, take TONS of pictures and hit my 330+ jump total. So that is why I am coming to Eloy Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
