Get a coach .......sorry - don't you know when you tell someone to NOT do something,t he first thing they do is that...DUH! Seriously little one - you can only teach yourself so much and even pals can only show you so much - with just 30 headdown attempts I had ALREADY started to pick up some bad habits...there seem to be too many to name....I am as broke as the next person (look at my travels this year) so deciding to get coaching was notv easy - BUT HOLD SHIT AM I GLAD I DID IT! Do some solos - try and get the "feel" for your freeflying then make an investment in just 1 coach jump.....I bet it will turn into a few more (and I bet you'll be glad you are broke that week). Yeah....I didn't watch the show until last night....saw the "pretty boy" and the "not so cute righ guy" and wondered about both. She had more PASSION with Jason - that was obvious but she laughed and had fun with Adam. I also think she started to "see more" in Adam after she saw the article on his wall...... Who knows.....I was bummed when she picked Jason just cause I was rooting for the "Average Joe" but I think she would have gotten bored and he was too overwhelmed with her. OK so I am itching to have my helmet be bright yellow (it is currently white) and I am wondering if it is total mistake to take on the task myself. I don't want to "f" up my helmet by trying to do something if it is a bigger task then I think. Anyone ever paint there own helmet (and I'm not talking to the pro's with airbrush gadgets and stuff)....???? Can a normal "Joe" go buy some spray paint and have it hold up to the rigors of the sky? so if you just paint from the can, do you just tape up the edges and then hand paint your design? Mine should be easy - I am just looking for a solid color (bright yellow). WHOA....now there is some serious info for painting my helmet. I wasn't looking for anything fancy - I just want my WHITE helmet to be bright yellow and maybe a bit of blue to match my jumpsuit....just cause I'm a dork and like things to match. But I also don't have all the airbrush tools you obviously do so my little project might be a bigger deal....I'll look into it some more but thanks for all the tips and AWESOME job on your helmet my friend! I feel the same about our infamous "skymama"....she is WAY to hard on herself and I had a totally different mental picture of what I thought she would be - then I met her....a beaming smile, an electric personality, a warm heart. Just a great person - simple as that! I'm very glad to call her a friend
