Well this was the first boogie I really spent a CHUNK of time at and wasn't sure what to expect, but I left thinking for the most part it was run very well. I'll admit - I would have liked to see all the planes running in the early days of the Boogie when we were backing up loads but that is just me being selfish - I don't know all the reasons as to why they were not so I won't complain - I jumped more than enough (with a bum shoulder) AND I was lucky enough to snag BB and HH for one of those jumps ). As for the weather, personally it made things interesting (and made folks frisky ) but I'd be cool with any pull you got with Mother Nature for next time. Manifest was awesome for the mass mayhem they had to deal with daily......I utilized a packer - AN AWESOME ARIZONA GUY who was recommended all the way from Florida (much love to Fred)....The Bent Prop was a blessing in disguise despite the occasional long waits for yummy eats and even the Super8 did a good job keeping the room "nica nica". I think everyone did a really FABULOUS job keeping the masses happy (and keeping toilet paper stocked). But if that saying is true that you can always improve things....Let's see what you can come up with next year - We'll be there for sure! Hugs, props and vibes to all.... Yup...gotta give much love to Betsy and Sangiro. BB - sure hope you have been able to start catching up on all the sleep you lost - but you sure know how to throw one HECK of a shindig! And HH - thanks for the jump. It was TOO much fun - only downfall was I forgot to take a pic of the jump gang...next time! Despite the cold temps and occasional "air traffic", Eloy was an AWESOME experience for sure. Next year I'll be better prepared for the chilly temps so I can "hang out" more.....I bet I won't even make it to the video since I don't recall seeing many cameras in my face Hugs to EVERYONE who made it a good time......see ya again soon! It was great meeting a bunch of the "gang" as well - just ashame there wasn't more time to play with everyone....but then again, I'm sure this wasn't the last boogie we'll all meet up at. MERRY CHRISTMAS (or HAPPY HOLIDAYS...whatever fits). It is Christmas morning and I just signed on before leaving for the airport and saw how much attention my post got. Much thanks for all the love, support and suggestions with the shoulder. Luckily I still have much of my strength and was NOT warned of a possible dislocation, was just told to stay aware of any pain. I know when the "ouchie" it too much to deal with and have no problem sitting out a few. Lots of time to visit and play - I love this sport too much, I won't be stupid for the sake of jump numbers. Well how about this for bad timing....have had some shoulder "ourchies" the last few months, went to doc who said I had an inpingement (fancy name for inflammation), take meds, don't work so go to physical therapy.....ends up I have a rotator cuff "issue" and it was recommended I "take it easy" for a few weeks.....all of this 2 days before I am to leave for Eloy and jump my ass off! What the hell.....I am babying the shoulder but I know it is there....SHIT IN A HAT! So looks like I might not be able to jump like a mad woman seeing has after about 3 or 4 jumps I don't move the shoulder so well. Oh wait, did I mention it is the frigin RIGHT shoulder (pull arm)........So if you see me in Eloy making funny faces, hoping no one sees cause I look like a retard trying to get my jumpsuit on/off or my rig over the shoulder - help a sista out - would ya.....As long as my pull hand works, I can suck up a little pain to jump. Anyone else ever "sucked it up" for the sake of jumping? Am I a bad girl for not taking the docs "recommendation"?.....well, there is something to say about being "bad" from time to time Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

My friends just called me from Orlando and said they are being REALLY tight but it is moving smoothly. Have to remember to take my hook knife off the rig - I always forget. I have not been from NJ for over 7 years now....blood has thinned. I am officially a Floridian now and a TOTAL WIMP when it comes to the cold. It has been SO NICE out there recently and now the boogie rolls around and we are going to have days only in the high 50's. Well according to the weather I have seen for Eloy, 12/23 >... it looks like we might be LUCKY to hit the 60's during the day. Now I a bit freaked out about keeping warm seeing as how this weekend in Florida it never hit the 60's and I was chilled to the bone all weekend long (and drank WAY TOO much hot chocolate with marshmallows ). Guess it will be layers of clothing and a non-fitting jumpsuit that is fitted in order to stay comfy. Oh boy.....only 3 more days to go! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

We need a "FUCKING GREAT" column.... This has been one of the absolute best years of my life....(and I've been around for 34 of them - 35 in January). I turned 34 in January and found skydiving. A few days after finding skydiving I started making new friends, one of them being the special someone now in my life (after being single for 3 years). My job continues to support my life (and helped me pay off debt from a shitty marriage). My family all appear to be healthy and happy............... I have traveled.....have made many friends and found out that I am not the big "chicken" or conservative little "sit at home" girl my family has wanted me to be. Life is all about being happy - I jump out of planes now and have finally found happiness. This has just been a great year and I hope everyone has a safe, warm and special 2004!
