    Weather was still pretty crappy and we gave up around 1pm and headed home - as we got to Lake Wales it cleared so we stopped and made jumps there but I was bummed I didn't get to jump more with the PM Sisterhood but you are right, there will be other boogies...like in Sebastian in March. Keep your eyes posted and maybe you guys can come back for a visit..... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    AAAAHHHHH...I still don't know what to do. Let me throw this at ya. Yes, having a big chunk of change comes only a few times a year but what if a deal was put in front of you that started this dilemna. A great camera, for a great deal...Granted - great deals come along all the time, it's just being in the right place at the right time. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO....I thought even if I had a camera and had to continue with my solos, I could understand better what I am doing (kinda sorta). It's not an easy choice. Money really sucks sometimes ...keep the feedback coming - eventually something will click and I'll know what to do. I DO like what weegee said (i think) - you can get coaching anytime but you can't recapture a jump you did yesterday ~ I did this AMAZING solo sunset jump (yes - sunset, beach and solo) over the Keys in November. It was my first beach landing as well - I would have given ANYTHING to be flying camera Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    OK so as we ALL know, this is not the cheapest hobby to be involved in. There is always something better or simply something new we just MUST HAVE......My dilemna is this ~ did the taxes last night and will get a little chunk of change back. I can either invest in a camera and start getting some of my adventures on film OR I can invest in some coaching. What would you do if you had the cash in your hand right now - coaching or camera?     So can we mark the dates on our calendars then....what are they? PS....you gonna be jumping Friday? Kate don't like to play with me anymore cause she plays with Bjorn now cause he's cooler then me and I'm getting bored with solos......although I'll do them to stay in the sky, plus $15 to 15 is just cool!     Sebastian is only 1.5 hours from Orlando and personally worth the drive. And a little bird told me the Pink Mafia MIGHT be doing something there in March.............so we'll be flying for sure!     Well hey there.....I'm always optimistic when the weekend comes and we were even tenting it for the weekend, although we spent more time in the back of the smack daddy new Tahoe Greg just got - better then the Holiday Inn I managed to get on one of the loads that went almost all the way up on Saturday (perfect timing) and got to play in the sky with Alli. Wanted desperately to pass that Barbie back on my head but I have not attempted docks ont he head yet. Was able to take the Barbie but then bobbled and went to my feet (I'm such a puss - I coulda tried harder ) but it was fun none the less. I'm not sure if numbers have been released from the weekend but I am pretty sure I will be PMS #69 Stay in touch big Jay - we gotta play in the sky and see how things go. I am a little speed demon on my head (until I figure out how to get those legs wider and control that speed) so I bet we could fly together. Until then.....     OOOOooooo - that sounds like fun. I'm not sure when it is "fair" to say I can fly on my head. I can get there, I understand the whole balance thing but now I have all the other pieces to learn - turning, speed control, etc. Right now still have a tendancy to go to my feet when things get "scary". Attempted my first kinda, sorta dock like movement this weekend (swapped a barbie doll with a Pink Mafia Sister) and lost it or didn't try hard enough to stick it Wonder if a newbie could try and play with the cool kids without ruining anyones day Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Well we got to jump Saturday morning and were getting scattered altitude ranging from 7.5 to 12 but it was still fun until the terential rains rolled in. It was a first for sure opening that door at what altitude we were getting and seeing a solid sheet of rain and then knowing I was jumping into it....the jump was a mess (sorry Chris) and it was not comfortable no matter what position you were in but I can still see that view, looking out the door into clouds and that CRAZY ASS rain! I think everyone who wanted to get initiated did and I can't wait to see pics in a few days. It's ashame we had the talent floating around and could not really play...next time! Pink Mafia girls are a great bunch for sure!!!! Can't wait for confirmation on what my number is Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Well for a 7 hour drive I guess you made the right decision cause we had lots of clouds and rain but still had fun! Got 2 jumps in (PM Initiation and Badfish jump through a waterfall ) on Saturday and then the boys did hop & pops, swooping the pond in the rain. Gave up and headed home early on Sunday to catch the SuperBowl. Missed ya for sure! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Hi there...well me and my guy will be there, Iandrennan and his wifie are coming from Georgia way, Chris from Basfish is somewhere in FL as we speak.....there's gonna be LOTSA of peeps around to play with. Hope they go stuff for that bonfire cause I'm not sure when the last time was I camped out in 50 degree weather. Just as long as it don't rain See everyone soon....Like Friday early afternoon

    Hi Bry.....met ya in Pahokee this past weekend (and saw a little more of ya then I planned to on Saturday night ). Wish I could have snagged ya for a jump to see this in the air since I am also learning to fly on my head. It is coming along but always nice to have a "pro" in your face showing you first hand - maybe next time. BTW, good canopy class also - perfect timing seeing as how I am demoing a new canopy (Sabre2-135 from 150) and loving the fact I can tug on a riser and actually have the canopy respond.

    I used the Caravan and was very happy with my MANY comfy rides to altitude. Also kinda nice to be able to talk on the ride up as well. Someone mentioned something about a prop spinny thing not working......I'm sure the "boo boo" will be fixed soon. Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    I'm there with ya Kramer...I thought things went really well for all the somewhat bad publicity that seems to hover around "what used to be". I was disappointed the Otter was down (I jumped it LOTS at the Richmond Boogie) but was happy to see Rob and his big bird and then in flew a little piece of my home (the Sebastian Caravan). I would have liked to jump a bit ....about umm 6 more times and hit 400 but wasn't meant to be. (Sunday was 1 year since my first tandem). Most of the gang was there who participated in my 100th jump and don't ya know - I FINALLY GOT PIED. I need some of the video or pics from that if anyone can hook me up

    Have to say, it ended up being a good weekend. Saw lots of familiar faces, made lots of jumps and almost felt like I was home when the Sebastian Caravan flew in and gave us nice comfy rides to altitude and ROCKING spots! SoBe is ok in my eyes....we even got REAL beer. Real FREE beer....Corona and Heinekin Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Had a FABULOUS birthday and thanks again to everyone ..... Made a handful of solos in Sebastian on Friday then played in Pahokee the rest of the weekend. The Skyvan was flying like mad but there Otter got a "boo boo" BUT Sebastians Caravan saved the day ...sorta...... IT was a fun weekend and the headdown is coming along nicely...wanna see?     WOW WOW WOW.... I feel so loved and lookey at all the offers.....spankings, jumps, hugs. I'm taking notes and will EXPECT everyone to PAY UP - I'm game! I work with Engineers and not so much as even one happy birthday this morning - yet another reason why I have fallen in love with skydiving this past year...Great sport and FABULOUS people.     Was I missed ...I know it was pure TORTURE not being around but for the best I'm sure and now my shoulder feels pretty good. We'll see how it feels after a few jumps - the true test. I heard about $15 to 15 and was mucho happy fundito! And besides, where else would I really want to spend my birthday other than "HOME" ......I'll always love Sebastian! As to catfishhunter...you are to funny with the mathematical calculations. I'll let ya know how things go......

    Thanks a heap K...I was just looking last night through my year's events - my first year in skydiving - and stumbled upon my 4th of July in Raeford. It was great fun but I just could not keep up with the monkeys (probably STILL couldn't). I took first in my first pieing event as I was leaving - we got Amish good Perhaps I will see you on the SunnyDee World Tour 2004 Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
