Wasn't the full moon this weekend GORGEOUS? Did you see it from 13,000 feet? Winds were blowing all weekend (but nothing unjumpable) yet as Saturday night approach, things calmed and as the moon rose above the trees, the wind STOPPED, completely. Some of the first timers did there solo passes while some of us just went and played like normal and it was simply amazing. For some reason the sky seems so peaceful and QUIET at night

Welp I never used that airline but checked it out and as of right now - a round trip from Sanford, FL to Newburgh, NY is running about $190. I also checked Newark just for the heck of it and found a flight from Orlando to Newark for $237. Anyone ever used Southeast Airlines before? I don't even know where they are located and if you can leave your car there SAFELY. But this is still all speculative but The Ranch is sounding more and more fun. Good attitude sorta.............right now a bunch of girls are planning a trip around 4th of July (boys are allowed to include themselves since they'll be so many of us HOTTIES around ) but not going to make plans other then where to go and how to get there Yeah - no plans keep things interesting for sure Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

WOW...we are getting some great suggestions and her is a few more of my "two cents"....For me, I've been to Raeford on the 4th had a blast and if you can land there, I'm not thinking The Ranch should be a prob. Raeford had those same tree rotor thing-a-ma-jigs and I did good (and I was still a newbie at the time). Went to Cross Keys last summer and it was an ABSOLUTE BLAST, especially on the weekends so there is always that option (if there are "requirements for jumping") and there are TONS of places up there (born and raised in NJ) that have KICK ASS fireworks. I want to "OOOoooo and AAAaahhhh" on the 4th of July Been to Aggieland in summer and it is just WAY TOO HOT but nothing but love for the WHOLE gang there I am hoping to hit SDC again this year but more so for Summerfest although I hear the fireworks display is FAB-U-LOSO! Never been to Mullins place but of course have heard lots. Hmmmmm...... Did someone mention there house? Got a plane that will pick us up and dump us accordingly So as of right now looks like The Ranch is very high on the list (plus look who is going to be there?.....Kolla, Gillian, Dove, Theresa and PMS). I am betting if we were to start looking in the next month or so, we could get kick butt deals on flights. JUST IN CASE...what is the best airport to fly into? PST meaning Pro Swoop Tour?.....if it is at Wildwood - are there requirements to jump there? We need to think of some place where we can get to sorta inexpensively and where anyone can jump , just incase you aren't super speedy like me and satified all requirements so got my D license and can go and do just about whatever I want AND all of it in my first year ......ok, back to potential plans. I've never been to the Ranch, I bet it won't be blistering hot there and I have family in New Jersey so I could kill 2 birds...bla bla bla.... Maybe Badfish would come play with us there, and I THINK a super nice chickie babe I met in Eloy over Christmas plays there (Teresa)...hmmmm...first possibility

It's been mentioned by some of the dz.com girls that we are trying to determine where will be the "cool" place to be on the 4th...or the cool place for all of us to meet up and play together . So for those who plan for stuff like this, let's start a list and see who wants to go where and/or hear suggestions as to "where is the place to be" on the 4th of July. ok.....GO! Just wondering what other skydiver types do. I was always a "planner"...liked to plan trips and know in advance the majority of the details. Over the last year I have watched my "planner" qualities kinda sorta disappear for the most part but now, as the summer is approaching I am kinda wanting to know what other people are doing so I can figure out my vacation schedule, especially around the holidays (Easter, 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc). So talk to me, do you plan ahead or do you decide the day before you are going somewhere, that you are going? ****my May is looking empty as of right now.
