Well if you came out to play on Saturday, after the morning clouds blew through we got an amazing rest of the day....and totally ate up them $15 jumps. Hopefully we'll get them again, on a better weather weekend - although me and my half work days on Fridays allowed me to get in something like 13 jumps for the weekend. Headdown is coming along - ask my pal Kate Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Welp had another FABULOUS weekend of skydiving....did lots of one on one with a great girl who is a HUGE help to me as I continue to learn headdown but in that mix, Dave Brown asked if HE could join US for a skydive ...duh.....so we do this cool little dive, just the three of us. Did the dirt dive and was laughing at how much he was planning for ME, knowing we just did coaching not too long ago. So anyway, do this Hi/Low grip exit....on his nod we released to a circle (wrist grips) then we released completely and although it wasn't completely smooth, I was able to stay right there with them. THEN THEN THEN Dave Brown came in and dock on my right hand and we waited for Kate to come in and get the other hand but when I saw her coming at me (kinda fast) I think I kinda panicked and corked. Popped to a sweet sit and fiinished off the dive with Dave Brown spocking me. I WAS SO FRIGIN excited you have no clue. Not only did the entire weekend I feel really good about slowing down all my movements and making small adjustments to correct the HD but when I was able to go through an entire skydive, with not one BUT TWO people with me and it be almost 100% on my head without them chasing me all over....it was great confirmation that my hard work and all my efforts are paying off. I talked with Dave after the jump and of course being the great guy he is, gave me some more suggestions...but then also later that night, when just hanging out with the gang, he came up to me again and said he was IMPRESSED

So is there a date I need to mark my calendar with, that Mr. DJ himself is coming to play with us, IN MORE WAYS then 1? See ya in about 3 hours

Thanks everyone...I'm anxious to get home tonight and put it all back together. Wasn't as big a deal as I thought and MUCH cheaper then getting a new helmet ...cost me a whopping $17 bucks for the entire project Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Yeah - not bad for a girl, huh?! I was all set up in my garage, blasting the tunes, taping and sanding - then I washed it all off and let it dry for an hour then I put on the first coat. I did 4 coats, every 30 minutes and did my name(s) FREE HAND this morning at work. Only thing I was NOT happy about is I decided to spray some clear over the blue areas ONLY and it made the side name run a little...but it almost looks cool so I might just leave it alone. Just want it to dry now so I can jump tomorrow at 12:30.... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Nice to mention this NOW........but I got this partcular paint from a guy who uses it to paint helmets so I am guessing I am ok.....not sure why - just guessing Here is a sample of the unfinished product....it's drying today...then tonight I'll put all my trim back on. It's done......no choice but to like it. Now I just need some cool new stickers to plaster all over it (first one will be my Team BadFish - gotta support my boys

Well helmet is painted and it was easier then I thought....didn't realize I could take off all the trim so not to worry about "neatness" with tape...good stuff! Someone should have REMINDED me to wear a mask though, when putting on the 5 coats....woke up with a NASTY headache this morning... Last process....anyone have suggestions for a good adhesive to put the trim back on....it is still kinda sticky but not sure good enough to hold securely. I'm happy so far, we'll see how snazzy it looks with everything back together.....xo, D Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
