    I just ran an errand for work and while sitting at the light, across the intersection comes this big bad ass bright yellow fire truck, with a nice looking firefighter in glasses sorta hanging out the window (in that I'm a cool firefighter kinda way ). I was looking...at the bright yellow firetruck and I guess I smiled cause next thing I know I got a BIG OLD HONK AND WAVE Nice pics my friend! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    Oh yeay...I forgot TJ was out in Eloy now. Had fun with him and Jen and the rain in Rantoul.....I did my first skydiver-esque video - well if you consider him flying his canopy from a golf cart skydiver-esque!

    Sorry you didn't get jumps this year Wendy but if it is any consolation - I know I had LOTS of great jumps (13 to be exact) so at least the paying customers were happy - from what I could gather I can't wait for next year!!!!!     Keep in mind...you get what you pay for . From all I've seen and asked about so far, coaching runs about $55 - 75 per jump. Just my 2 cents...keep your ears open while wondering the DZ because you never know what you might hear.....My thought process is that I want to "get" the general idea of headdown and THEN pay for coaching to help me tweak it.     You get the prize...it was water gear which was required for every jumper if you planned on getting on the plane... AND THEY CHECKED TOO. Just a little CO2 cartridge and flotation thingy. Got used to it after the first few jumps. Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

    HEY MISSY - was that a slam .....FYI, you especially should be taking notes after each jump (even if you exagerate a little ) since you need some accuracy jumps for your licenses. I think it is important for the first couple hundred at least and it may LOOK like I spend hours but I just quickly write some notes once I get down and pack and before next load..............and it's cool to get signatures of everyone so when you apply for a next license they don't see just one name and wonder if your info is BS...or at least that is my silly way of thinking. It's so not a big deal to me........I think it's fun............ Drop me a PM and let me know how things are going...or I'll PM you ...............     Thanks everyone...the camera is my guys, who is now away and I don't think he has a memory card (he took it out and gave to pal to print pics a few months ago and never got it back).....I might just run to Circuit City or something and get a new card for him, snag some of my pics and take to Walgreens. Thanks a heap to everyone for suggestions. FYI...my deal with myself (cause I do weird things like that) is that I will not buy myself a camera until I am solidly on my head. Incentive to get there...... But I'm really hoping that happens in the next few weeks cause xmas bonus is right around the corner and once that is gone - not sure I'll have the cash again anytime soon to afford a camera.....and I WANT TO FLY CAMERA......     WHOA......my little Missy has been corrupted (and like me is unafraid of the camera )! At least she gave the boys some jollies for the night and now Skymama has a new drink to try.... So can I take this a bit off track and share a picture that got my panties all in a waad...maybe not yours but mine are the only ones that are important right now.... Can someone make suggestions...I was at the Keys Boogie this weekend and got some great video but not so great stills (view finder was off ). Want to try and capture some from the video.     AMEN to that! Sunset at the beach Saturday night was equally rewarding seeing as how we were racing a nice storm in but man o man did that sun look awesome bouncing off those big dark clouds. First beach landing was cool for sure......but I didn't land in front of the BIG crowd - started approach a bit too soon (perhaps a bit gun shy with all that water around me ). I hope BendyWendy got a little of me on video or someone who was on the beach Saturday before the rains rolled in..........anyone fessing up to seeing me land?!
