DANG..........me and my boyfriend were talking about checking out skydiving in Carolina cause we are HOPING sometime in the next 2 - 3 years we might move out that way............still lotsa if's on that but this is the weekend of the "Bytch Boogie" in Sebastian. OK deal.....after all, fair is fair! Maybe you could make a jump or two with him, he's a great flyer. I mean, if people like Mike Swanson and Rook invite him on jumps that has to mean something right .....and I'm not biased either - I sware! See ya soon enough! I'm curious to know if other peeps have had weekends like this before, start at one DZ, zip to another one a few hours away then come back home - all in one day and having jumped in both places. OOOPS - Freudian slip - "skyguy" is still VERY MUCH a part of my life, just unfortunately not with me all the time (long distance SUCKS) But now I have an idea ...His flight arrives at like 11:30pm Friday night, maybe I'll leave a key under the mat and try to fall asleep early (cause I can't sleep with the doors unlocked) ... I've always had this wish/fantasy/whatever.....to be sleeping peacefully then all of a sudden feel a warm hand on my of course naked body then feel someone slip under the covers next to me and then have them "wake me up". I still have that damn cold but 'prolly near overdosed on Sudafed and Dayquil so not to screw up my ears or nose......Did a "test" hop and pop from 5K to see how it felt and it was ok so I went for it. You should should hear my voice.....it's deep and raspy - kinda sexy like - just ignore my big red nose Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I was a bit surprised myself when a group from Sebastina made a last minute trek to Nationals - and the first thing I saw was Rook and Mike Swanson in RW suits turning points on the floor. It was actually very cool - thinking these awesome freefliers were not above having fun on their bellies............Fun in the sky, any way you can get it! Lucky for you the weather took a lovely turn for the better and the sky Gods once again shined brightly on Lake Wales and the competition.... Me and a group from Sebastian raised enough cash to get our Caravan to fly us over cause we were socked in with weather at Sebastian. It was cool as hell!!! Made 2 jumps there then flew home for a sunset hop and pop in a light rain....it was a GREAT day! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time... -
Famous...hmmm......Well I got hugs and kisses from Rook Nelson and Mike Swanson - are they famous? Stood with my jaw dropped as Arizona Airspeed landed next to me - but didn't talk to them So when ya gonna come help me get on my head - we'll talk daffy later And to all my blether pals....big hugs.....I feel loved! Well since many had not been to Lake Wales before there were waivers and paperwork that needed to be done before jumping so we FLEW in but still....it was pretty cool to arrive like that....and then leave like that. The gang at Sebastian rocks! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

OK well Saturday was beautiful in Sebastian Florida yet I had family obligations and could not play in the sky . Show up Sunday ready to go, as the clouds roll in, rain hovers in the distance and people grow impatient and start leaving the DZ (oh no....not enough to get up loads...quick - think).....so we put up a quick hop and pop load....yippy! OH WAIT...did I forget to mention we also had 20mph winds...it was fun none the less but the skies were NOT looking favorable for the rest of the day and since I'm not a "swooper" yet, hop and pops are not my idea of the best day, so Marco....the Planner of all planners comes up with an idea, talks to the pilot, pilot talks to the DZ and his boss, we put together the numbers and before ya know it, we are gathering people to chip in and get the plane to fly us all to Lake Wales for Nationals............took some "planning" but we did it....Marco did it!!!!
