Guess what my "honey" is demoing as we speak (and yes, the winds have calmed tremendously)....a Velocity 103. Of the 7 jumps he's done today - he is loving is lots! Think he'll be calling them his own within the next week. He also has over 2,000 jumps so his 2:1 wing loading is nothing to him......PLUS he can just about land on a dime with his Stiletto 120 so is not being overly agressive going to a V103. As for me, I'm just a 1:1 on my Sabre2......and a 135 would put me about 1.2:1 - makes me go hummmmm , for sure now and then. Might allow me NOT to come straight down on those windy days ****deep breath....chill out......Eloy is around the corner....can't spend more money now******

My guy is a KICK ASS flyer and feel very confident saying that......He has been jumping since 1994 and has over 2,000 jumps. It really is amazing when you are able to jump with someone who has that mych skill, over and over and over. It has helped me tremendously for sure. It was pretty cool how he was hanging with JIB then he sorta corked (yikes) and he spotted us (you and I) and BAM - he was there. I'll be able to do that some day...maybe by Eloy Yeah right. But my goal is to at least be on my head and at least be stable enough to orbit the group by then. See you in Eloy...........So I wonder if the "Byth Boogie" will become a yearly thing now? Yeah - I heard that too.......And despite it all, SM1 was up and ready to go when I got BACK to Sebas at like 9:30am. Amazing! Simply amazing... Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Well despite some KICKIN' winds this weekend I got my happy butt up and jumped....and since it seems my two-ways were not helping me (making same mistakes over and over ), seemed a good time to try some solos and just figure it out. First jump....not so great but did lots of cartwheels. 2nd jump I opted to try front flips and HOLY SHIT - I was on my head - kinda sorta I think. I can tell ya it probably was not pretty and FOR SURE, not stable but I had the whole legs going from front to back so I know I am no longer getting on my back. My legs were above my head without a doubt. I was keeping my hands to my sides so not to "grab the air" and really think about the wind on my legs and I DID...I DID! I got off that jumped and did my fastest pack job ever and went right the hell back up to do it again. I don't try and hold it.......hold it a few seconds then go back to sit and do it again. I try and transition about 5 - 7 times while keeping a close eye on my altitude and headings. It's a step in the right direction.....and I am super happy. FINALLY! Thanks for all the tips gang.....just have to keep doing this then I might want to bring my "coach" back up with me to SEE what's up. I'll keep ya posted - if you want to hear or not.....It is just a good "vent" for me when I was getting frustrated and then finally feel it - have to share!
