I think the learning of languages should work both ways. Its wrong that immigrants come to the US to live, and never attempt to learn english. but its also wrong that people in the US never even try to learn another language. especially those who travel to other countries. MB 3528, RB 1182 -

anyone else remember these? hold your breathe as you drove past a cementary, or you would get "dead people germs" lift your feet off the floor of the car as you drove over railroad tracks, or you would eventually die in a train crash. if you locked yourself in the bathroom at night, turned out the lights, and said "bloody mary" into the mirror you would see her standing behind you in your reflection. boy that one creeped us out and we never could do it. I saw the program on tv like a year ago... one of their helocoptors crashed on the way to the desert. that might be figured into the 4 million. they had to pay to ship the rubber band ball all the way from the UK (i think). plus they had to pay off the guy who spend like 10 years of his life making this thing. but after that thing hit, it was laying there making creepy munching noises MB 3528, RB 1182

Can you leave a reserve packed up for years at a time?

search the gear and rigging forums, I remember someone asking this before, I believe the advice was pop open both main and reserve, put the canopies in seperate bags, still attacted to the rig though, and put it in a dry closet. MB 3528, RB 1182 -
pack, or see if the DZO will trade jumps for stuff like mowing the lawn, cleaning, etc. or you could see if there is a static line dz around... it is usually cheaper. MB 3528, RB 1182

Ok so I am fishing off a pier this weekend, and twice I caught some big stingray. One of them was about the size of a hula hoop... that big. As we toss em back into the ocean, some bystander women asks why we don't keep em and eat em... i tell her you can't eat stingray, and she says that some people do. She said she saw it on tv that some normal people eat it. I think she was making stuff up. so has anybody actually eaten stingray, or seen it on a menu somewhere? oh yeah we also caught a bunch of little sharks... they were kinda cool, until they bent almost in half trying to bite me as i took em off the hook. too bad you can't eat those. That was GREAT! I felt so sorry for that one poor woman who was frantically running around trying to stop the morons from signing it. I still think every idiot who signed it should have had their suffrage permanently revoked.
