  1. Those are very cool shots. Are the two triangular shots of the same canopy? The lines are much longer in the second photo...incredibly long! T10 long under a tiny triangle....that must have swung around a lot! That Barish Sailwing is very wild looking!! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  2. Good!!!! Something everybody should do at repack time. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

  4. Went with Untrasher and it worked perfectly. Now my bride has all of her World Series pic's back and she can be happy again. Thanks alot!!! Hey Marc, Glad that it worked out for you....I'm going to have to download a copy of that...just in case Were you at Game 5? Wow!! No wonder you want to recover those shots!!!! 5. Shortly after I started jumping in 1980, a Canadian jumper named Zoltan Pegan had a premature reserve opening due to a reserve cable that was too short. Unfortunately, he was sitting in the "V" of a Cessna 182 at the time. The reserve pilot chute blew over the wing and he was slammed into the wing as he was pulled over top. He wound up a paraplegic. Not something to ignore. I would not jump that rig until you know that the reserve cable is long enough or has been replaced with one that is. It might not be just you that is hurt/killed in a premature...you might take a friend with you. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  6. i knew you were a Mac user...I was just thinking I should have noted that in my post so that Windows users would know that software wouldn't work for them if they needed something similar. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  7. There may be something on Versiontracker that will help you...I remember seeing software to do this a while ago but can't remember the name....will do a search... Here's the search results for "photo recovery". There are three programs listed...2 of which are shareware...you might be able to use one of them to get your photo off without paying the shareware fee. Good luck! Saw a reference to a freeware program called Exif Untrasher in one of the reviews of the above software....it's free and has 5 star reviews...give Untrasher a try! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  8. It was great to see David Eckstein get the MVP award...the guy does more with what God gave him than anybody else in the Major Leagues. I was pulling for the Tigers and hoping for a good Series...it would have been real good if the Tigers could have fielded as well as most Little League teams. The Cards played well and got much better pitching than I thought they would...especially from Reyes and Weaver. The presentation of the MVP award sealed my opinion of Bud Selig as the most hapless and hopeless boob in professional sport....he mispronounced Eckstein's last name...he is hopeless. Now to the offseason stuff....let's see, Gary Sheffield is sulking and pouting because the Yankees picked up his option for 2007 at $17 million.....the poor guy. His spoiled attitude just makes David Eckstein that much more refreshing! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  9. Sabres are going down Saturday, and that is all I have to say about that!!! The Thrashers are off to a good start as well...should be a good game! But, I think they are doomed to being the answer to a new trivia question..."Who did the Sabres defeat to set a new NHL season start record of 11 straight wins?" -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  10. I don't think you'll be doing that when the Sharks and Sabres are in the Finals.. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  11. Winter...we'll likely still be going at it in June! (I think the season and playoffs are too long) -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  12. "Shell, Are these Oil of which you speak the same that were smote 6-2 by the Coyotes tonight? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  13. The Sabres are 10-0!! This ties the best start ever in the NHL. They were _so_ close last year..if their defence hadn't suffered so many injuries they might have knocked off the Hurricanes...and then smoked some 'Oil'. (man, that was a long time ago) -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  14. Mike, I am so very sorry for you and everyone else that knew and loved Brian. My deepest condolences. Murray
  15. The Sabres are now 9-0 with a win over Montreal. On Thursday against the islanders they have a chance to win their first 10, tying the league record. I'd say they have a pretty good chance to do that! One of the TSN commentators the other night was saying he thinks they are favourites to win the Cup...time will tell on that prediction! How about the Flyers getting rid of Hitchcock and Clark resigning? They need more than a new GM and Head Coach...it will be interesting to see what, if any, personnel changes they make in the next while. I'm not a Flyers fan...I actually hope they continue to suck indefinitely...but it will be interesting to see what they do to try and salvage this season. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  16. That was about as good as reporting could be on an incident of this nature. For them to say that fatalities were "rare" at this event gave it perspective that is never seen in most main stream reporting. This is so sad on so many levels. I am so sorry for Brian, Brian's family, Mike Pelkey and everybody else who knew him and who was there at Bridge day. My condolences to all. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

    Kickboxing

hehehe....in about my second Muay Thai KB class my instructor came over to me at one point and asked, "Are you ok?" It'll get better...just be sure to go on a regular basis...at least 3x/week. Just out of curiousity, what did you do in warmups? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

  19. I really think LaRussa will have to pull rabbits out of his hat to beat the Tigers. It will be interesting to see who when he starts Carpenter and Suppan. If Carpenter starts Gm2 on Sunday he will be pitching on 3 days rest. That would make him available for Game 5 on 3 days rest or Game 6 on 4 days rest. If he doesn't start until Game 3 he could pitch Game 6 on 3 days rest or Game 7 on full rest...which would leave Suppan only starting Game 4. I would bet they go on 3 days rest...but I'm not being paid the big bucks. Jim Leyland can set up his starters as he sees fit. They are all fully rested. I think this may be quite an advantage....but who knows.....look at the performances turned in by rookies and cast-offs in the series just ended. Perez gives the Met 2 great starts and he was cast off by the Pirates during the year. Wainwright, a rookie forced into the closer's role because of injuries to Isringhausen, closes off Game 7. The beauty of the playoffs is that anything can happen. I hope we get more baseball like we just finished watching...Game 7 of the NLCS was an excellent game. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  20. He's got a bad back...how sweaty could he get before the pain gets to him? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  21. 'Shell...you'd like Mario all sweaty wouldn't you? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  22. Psssssst! 'Shell! ....he's retired. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  23. What a nailbiter! Perez and Suppan were both great. Endy Chavez made one of the best catches ever in a playoff game. Wainwright made me nearly have a coronary by loading the bases in the 9th but catching Beltran looking for a called 3rd strike was just awesome...what a great breaking ball just when he needed it! Too bad the Tigers are going to whup the cards -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Or how to get out of it....I think he has more injuries than a broken nose. In the last minute he kept his arms down to protect his body...which led to the crushing knee to the face...and I think he was hurt from the body shots. have you heard anything about any broken ribs or other injuries? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
