  1. She flashed her boobs to the audience. HAHAHAHA!!! You sure know how to hurt a guy! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  2. I missed 99% of last night's show...what was KLC's reaction when she was sent to safety? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  3. Well, it was a surprise to see MJ leave! I was outside working on my boat and came in just as he got the heave-ho. I was glad to see KLC get a break from the bottom three...she had a good performance Tuesday and it's good to see her get the votes for it. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  4. Dude - see attached....she's all yours... -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  5. I'd describe him as a cross between Bashful and Dopey ..... if I were comparing him to the Seven Dwarfs Brooke's clothes....I thought I was having a 60's flashback when she came on....and like you say, way too much estrogen!!! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  6. As Hunter S. Thompson famously said, ""The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." I am tired of her (Brooke's) eyes filled with tears over EVERYTHING! Suck it up cupcake. She is no doubt a kind and loving person but ya can't wear your heart on your sleeve like that all the time. I agree 100% with pretty much all the reviews thus far... and Kristy Lee Cook was smokin' tonight....great job singing and she looked awesome! I sure hope this takes her out of the bottom three...she needs a break. David Cook's song choice was pretty awful and his performance was terrible...for him. Carly - She needs a fashion consultant. Tonight wasn't as bad (despite the VPL) as a couple of previous weeks where she looked like she wass wearing some Rita McNeil hand-me-downs....you guys likely have never heard of Rita McNeil....consider yourselves lucky!! Who goes home?? Ya know, I'd say maybe you're right to pick Carly but Syesha wasn't that great and she has had more bottom time. David Cook could be in the bottom three. Wait a Second!!! Don't their performances tomorrow night also get voted on? If so, it's too early to tell for sure. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  7. Thanks for the tip...didn't even know about this movie. Scorsese is my favorite director and the Stones have been one of my favorite bands since I was a kid...will definitely check this out soon. I think it is a limited time engagement. It is only playing here for a week. I'll likely go again in the next few days. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  8. I spent about $500 for a twelfth row seat when the Stones visited Regina, Saskatchewan in 2006 - seeing this in a theatre is just about as good as seeing them live and at about 1/50 the cost!
  9. Canadians might like to try Canadaram.com Fast service and these guys are extremely helpful. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  10. Welcome to the club! You should also know about a few Mac oriented websites to help you stay abreast of new programs, products, rumours, etc.... The Unofficial Apple Weblog Versiontracker - for Software Fake Steve Jobs - Humour and Satire Macrumors.com These are my most visited sites. There are many more in the Mac blogosphere. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  11. I just came back from watching Shine A Light, Scorcese's new Stones film of their two concerts at the Beacon Street Theatre in New York. LOVED it! But then, I'm an old Stones fan. I'd say that if you don't know anything about the Stones it would be a great history lesson. It rocked hard, was hilarious at times and Scorcese's use of old footage and interviews was excellent. Champagne and Reefer with Buddy Guy is worth the price of admission! For me, the only thing I wished it had was Gimme Shelter. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  12. It's probably worth mentioning VMWare's Fusion also allows this. I've never found any need to run Windows on my Mac, so I don't have an opinion which is better, but they both have a lot of user support. I have both Parallels and Fusion on my iMac at work. I installed Fusion after a Windows tax program I am completely dependent on started messing up after a Parallels update. The Fusion install went great and it did something automatically that took me a long time to set up in Parallels.....it automatically setup my User Folder to be accessible from the Windows side of things. For me this is crucial as I backup my tax data daily and it is so much easier to have it in my home user folder in OS X. If you read around you'll see claims of one or the other being better at certain things. All I know is that Fusion saved me having to get a Windows machine for my tax program. Fusion is written and supported by VMWare who have been doing the virtualization thing for a very long time. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  13. I think you run a great risk of her turning into a weeping drunk that wants to talk about her feelings..... .....my vote goes to Kristy Lee in the tequila and fun department!! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  14. I was at a baseball practice with my son so I missed the show. My wife thought David Cook was the best and that Ramielle or Kristy Lee should be the one to go. Is she pickin' 'em right? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  15. Jason was warned about coasting last week. He is pretty good at a particular genre/type of song but when he goes outside what he does pretty darn well i.e.- Hallelujah - I don't know if he has it. "Michelle" was terrible. I think he was pretty surprised to be in the bottom 3 last week. You can't mail it in. LBFM has every Filipino in the US voting for her...I think she will be around for a while despite belonging in the next 3 to leave. Archuleta - The more I see him the less I like him. He can nail it from time to time and he has the teenage girl vote...which isn't necessarily about talent. Kristy Lee - I have to admit I just love a long legged woman that can throw a good roundhouse kick but I don't think she'll last much longer. I don't think she has the vocal skills to keep going to the top 5. Best Muay Thai by far. Syesha - I think she'll be the next to go ... others should leave first but I think she'll be gone this week. I don't really like Aussie dude, I like David Cook much better. Carly Smithson - She should outlast LBFM and Syesha and Kristy Lee but I could see her leaving earlier. I had earlier picked her for top 5 but don't know if she will make it...or belong there. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  16. Podworks is a few bucks but I like it better than senuti. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

  18. I liked Chikezie, maybe because he's Nigerian and he reminded me of the terrific Nigerian family that lived next door to us for a couple of years. Absolutely fantastic people! Great parties, drums going , everybody dancing house jammed with people...I really miss them. Who goes next? Ramiele, Kristy Lee, Syesha, Jason? I bet every Filipino in the US is voting for Ramiele and she''ll stick around for a while. My vote goes for KL or Syesha to leave next week. Top five...David Cook, David Archuleta, Brook White, Carly, the Aussie. I vote that next year they have a Jagger/Richards week! No more of thet Beatles! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  19. You can never tell what is going to happen but I am hoping the Sharks will go past the third round this year. The West is a tough conference and anything can happen. The Ducks will be tough, Detroit, Calgary, Dallas...there's not too many weak teams in the top 8. I'll be cheering for the Flames and Sharks and my childhood faves, Les Canadiens! Rookie goalie.....can Price do what Dryden and Roy did? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
  20. As of this morning - x-San Jose 100 points Anaheim 94 points e-Los Angeles 66 points The x means in the playoffs. The e means eliminated from any possibility of making the playoffs. Yeah. Respect this, LA. The Cup will stay on the West Coast this year but it won't be in SoCal. Yay!!! Playoff hockey is coming soon!!!! Well, with 5 games left, my team still has a chance. A remote chance but it's still there. Shell - Time for you to start cheering for the Flames! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
