Here you go....Cry Me A River. Sounds like it should have been in a James Bond flick. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

I didn't see the fight but was following it on a live blog. When the crowd is booing it's never a very good sign. There seemed to be very little action. My FMA instructor watched it and told me this morning that it wasn't much of a fight. He said the Liddell fight was the best in his opinion. I hope Chuck hangs 'em up. I don't think he has it anymore...and like you say, he hasn't changed his game when everybody has him figured out. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Yep, the glory days are long gone. I think Carey Price is done for this series and who knows what the future might hold for him. Montreal is a great place to play if the fans love you and hell if they don't. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Amazing to have never been kissed. Seeing her on stage, my honest first impression was "homely." Sorry, but that's the truth. In reality, a touch of a makeover would do wonders for her aspirations, both on the stage and in personal life. Selling yourself is sometimes all in the packaging. There's a reason I'm on the radio, not TV. She's got a beautiful voice. I've got no musical talent, so I'm always doubly impressed by those that do.

Lutter was the winner of TUF that got the title shot right? I thought he did a good job of fighting the fight he wanted. He definitely gave it a good shot. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Pens were lucky to pull this one out of the fire...not that I'm complaining about the end result mind you. Does anybody else find Marc-Andre Fleury to be inconsistent? He let in a relatively soft goal to give the Flyers the lead and then shortly thereafter made that spectacular save that kept the Pens in the game. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

People must be busy jumping or watching the NHL playoffs or something...

Yup. Very disappointed. I expected Joe's line to get shut down but was hoping for more scoring opportunities from the other lines. Didja notice how McLellan started mixing up the lines in the third? That's why Joe could start doing something, the shuffling around meant that he wasn't up against the Ducks top D on a few shifts. At least, that's what the radio color guy said. Joe was more active in the third....but he is the Sharks' GUY...he should be making them know he is on the ice regardless of the line he is up against. Mike Milbury, on the CBC broadcast, was really giving it to Joe. We've all seen top players rise to the occasion regardless of what the other team does...Joe has got to find a way or I fear the Sharks will be gone in the first round. It'll be harder to get the right matchup in Anaheim as the Ducks will have the last change so I'm hoping Joe can up his game regardless of who is out there. Lisa - Is Drew Remenda still doing the Sharks broadcasts? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

The Ducks PK was really, really good...against one of the top PP in the league. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Put me in with the people saying to wait until your kids are older. We took our boys to Disney Land when they were 7 & 9. They had a fantastic time. When they are that old they can walk all day and you don't need to carry them or deal with the hassle of strollers. That being said, one of their favourite times was when we drove along the Pacific Coast Highway, stopped in some of the State Parks along the way and just went beach exploring....granted, being from the Canadian prairies made the ocean much more fascinating

Sharks fans (which includes me) had better be worried. Anaheim was a much better team last night. I think Carlyle had a better plan for his team than McLellan did for the Sharks. Joe Thornton was an invisible man until late in the third...when it was too late. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Habs lost 4-2. They had the Bruins on their heels for most of the third but couldn't find a way to beat Thomas and then Chara made it 3-2. Pretty good game, fast, lots of hits. I was surprised that the Habs dominated the play as much as they did, unfortunately, they couldn't turn that into goals. Ducks - Sharks start in 20 minutes! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

At least they were going at it toe to toe...and not attacking from behind. Anyways...back to the playoffs..4 games tomorrow but Thursday has the two series I'm most interested in...Ducks/Sharks and Habs/Bruins. Lots of bad blood already...they should be awesome! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Bertuzzi is playing for the Flames. I've gotten a lot of flack from some people for saying that Bertuzzi should have gone to jail for that mugging. People say "it's part of the game". I say bullshit. Getting checked with your head down is part of the game, playing tough is part of the game, dropping the gloves and having at it is part of the game but attacking someone from behind and driving them headfirst into the ice with all 240 pounds of your body behind it isn't part of the game. It is assault. I believe Steve Moore still has an outstanding lawsuit against Bertuzzi. I hope he gets a huge settlement. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Nah......all-time cheap shot has to be McSorley's attack on Brashear. Don Bertuzzi on Steve Moore is right up there too. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

I think that was when I first understood the true meaning of sin. I knew it was wrong, but I was hoping Kharlamov was gone for the series so bad anyway. I would rank that up there as one of the most despicable acts committed in a hockey arena. Your reaction really sums it up nicely. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

The Flyers. God I hope not! My hate for them and Bobby Clarke is now in its fourth decade. I hope that I die without ever seeing them hoist the Cup again. That being said, Clarke has provided me with a couple of good laughs over the years. Most recently when he was cutting up Eric Lindros (a player I've always despised...even more than the Flyers) during their feud and a long time ago when Hockey Night in Canada introduced a "Sounds of the Game" feature that was LIVE. Bruce Hood, the referee, sent Clarke to the penalty box, the camera was on Clarke, the microphone was turned on and Clarke yelled "HOOD YOU FUCKIN QUEER!" Profuse apologies from the CBC announcers and the end of the experiment. Haha! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Yup but the Ducks only need 1 win or 2 points to clinch. Remaining games are vs Stars and Coyotes. Considering their gameplay...we got it. Just think how much they'd like to be the spoilers! And on the flip side... the Ducks are going to want to clinch real bad. In the East we could have Habs-Bruins in the first round...a classic match-up but one destined to disappoint old Habs fans like myself. I'm just glad the Habs made it to the playoffs. For them to miss in their Centenary year would have been pretty sad. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

The only wasy that's going to happen is if the Sharks are lucky enough to avoid the ducks through the playoffs. The playoff scenarios for the West are still completely up in the air...with 4 teams still in contention for 2 spots. Could easily have the Ducks and Sharks in the first round or Wings and Ducks. Or...the Ducks could conceivably wind up out of the playoffs. We'll know in a couple of days who meets who! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Any optometrist can fix you up. I have a pair of bifocal prescription sunglasses...I'm old I know...but I couldn't do anything in the plane without them as seeing stuff closeup just doesn't work anymore. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Definitely making statements for the playoffs. Could be a nasty matchup if it happens. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

I hope you're right as I like the Sharks. Not good if they wind up meeting the Ducks in the first round and the Ducks have beat them the last two times they played. {Edited to add 1-0 Ducks after the first....not a good start } -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Last night the Ducks were way too much for the Sharks..5-2. Hot team going into the playoffs...watch out! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

It has FW800 doesn't it? Is there a way to use FW 400 in the 800 port? Cable adapter or something? -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
