Then you're lucky..it appears that people with the 3G will be paying more. Let us know how you like it!

Wendy, The upgrade on ATT is expensive....this is what I've been reading. New customers get the $199 price but people upgrading have to pay $599 I think. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

I've painted a couple of houses and have always used brushes and rollers. SOme of those edging tools work good doing the ceiling wall junction but I use a brush to do the trim. Get a couple of good cloth dropcloths. I have a long one that is about 3 feet wide and another that is about 12 x 14 feet. I like cloth better than plastic. I'm also in the habit of taking off my shoes as I leave the dropcloth to go to another part of the house. That way I won't track paint onto a carpet or flooring. Prep work is the key to a good paint job! It is very important to use primer over areas that you have filled such as a nail pop in drywall. After hammering the nail head down and filling the hole and sanding it until it is nice and smooth put some primer on it to seal the surface of the patching material. If you don't prime the patches they will be obvious after you paint them. Be sure you remove any loose paint, sand the whole surface, clean it off real well to remove any sanding dust and you can do a very professional looking job. Good luck! -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

He did achieve the salary cap, salary escrow, etc by way of the lockout. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

The only guy that could think three moves ahead in hockey was Gretzky Things happen so fast in hockey that it is impossible for anybody to anticipate everything that is going to happen. I sure don't think there is any conspiracy...imagine the damage that something like that would do. Not even fucking Bettman is that stupid. I dislike the way everything is up for review after the fact these days. "The league office will review that" No wonder these refs won't make calls if they are going to be second guessed all the time. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

It was/is brilliant. The short, Partly Cloudy, is now available in the iTunes store for $1.99. I can't figure out how to get the url but if you search for Partly Cloudy in the store you'll find it. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

I saw a little stat that was very interesting...30% of the people that went to see UP were adults without kids. Here's a review that, I think, does a pretty good job of explaining why. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

As long as the refs are fair and calling things equally on both sides...let them go at it. I hate these hooking and holding calls they make now where there is virtually no effect on the other player. Too often the announcers are kind of going, "looked ok to me." -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Better than CARS or Monsters INC? I dont have any kiddies but I might have to go see this one. I think you will leave the theatre very glad that you went. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Just came back from watching UP in 3d. It is a fantastic movie. One of the best I've seen in my life. I think it may be the best Pixar has made. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Chuck, Sat/Sun must be to get the big viewer numbers on Versus I can't stand Bettman...little weasel with a small man complex. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

I'm going to jinx the Pens right now for ya and start cheering for them . This has the potential to be an excellent series. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
-
Chuck, I think the Pens will be waiting for them....both of these series are as good as done and I can't see them going any further than the next games...but what do I know??? I almost always cheer for the underdogs but in these two series it hasn't really been very close in too many games. The only question left is can the Pens beat the Wings this year? Murray
-
The Canes are just overmatched. The Pens have really been on fire...especially Malkin, as you noted. I wonder if Don Cherry still thinks that nobody will beat Detroit this year? (That was his opinion last night either before the game started or during the first intermission.) -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

They did well to regain their composure and keep it scoreless in the third. I am sure glad they pulled it out of the fire and hope they can win another on Sunday. I have no doubt they can win this series if they are consistently playing at the high level they are capable of....but that's asking a lot against a dangerous team like the WIngs. In other sad news...Pierre Maguire did NOT get the Minnesote Wild GM job so we're stuck with him as a broadcaster it seems. In unsurprising news...Mike Keenan is toast as Coach with the Flames. I never understood why they picked him as a coach in the first place. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

5 minutes after I turned on the Wings/Hawks game it went from looking good to a tie. Third period just underway...I'm afraid to watch. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Adam had a lot of supporters in the hinterlands of Canada....but a lot of people that liked Kris better for the reasons everybody has expressed. The silver lining for Adam...he doesn't have to record that song by Kara and be associated with it forever. He's going to do just fine without winning. I wouldn't be surprised if Brian May from Queen offered him a gig singing for them. He's got the flamboyance and vocal ability. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

The only old rink I was ever in was the Montreal Forum. With all the Cup Banners hanging what an awesome shrine to hockey. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
-
That must have been an indication your guy was going to win Chris. I am not surprised that Kris won even though I would have voted for Adam....like Simon wanted everybody to vote. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

I think that if the Canes played 60 minutes like they do the last 3-4 minutes they'd win the Cup for sure! Very dangerous team in the closing minutes...they never stop. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Sure hope you're right about the seven game series Chuck. What impressed me about the Hawks was the way they came from behind in their games against the Canucks. They won't quit. I think they will give Detroit a really good battle. I was just reading about Paul Maurice. I didn't remember that he took the Canes to the Finals in 2002 and they lost to the Wings. So...if he can get the Canes there he'll be wanting a little redemption -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
-
I think both of the remaining series have pretty good upset potential. The Hawks are young, talented and don't know they should be scared. Khabibulin has woon a Cup before with Tampa so they should get good goaltending. 'Canes are a good solid team with maybe the best goaltender left in the playoffs. (Of the goaltenders left playing only Marc Andre Fleury hasn't won a Cup....but he has been to the finals. ) The Hurricanes didn't have any big names when they won the Cup the first time but they played a good tight game with good goaltending. We shall see soon enough. All we can hope for is for some great hockey the rest of the way. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

That's right...they mentioned before overtime that the Bruins were 0-20 (or 0-39 can't remember which) coming back from 3-1 and had only once before forced a Game 7. I always hate it when they mention stats like that because streaks always come to an end...plus they were mentioning that Cam Ward was 3-0 in Game 7s....so I figured the Canes were jinxed. Cam will have his work cut out for him against the Pens but I do believe that if he gets hot he is good enough to steal the series from the Pens. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Hey Chuck, Did you get the feeling that things were slipping away for the Wings when the Ducks tied it up in the third? I honestly thought the Ducks were going to pull it off....there was no quit in them at all. -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

Go Canes...OT just starting! Edited to add: 18:46 Scott Walker wins it for the Canes! What a great game! The Wings/Ducks was also excellent...these games were everything that yesterday's Game 7 wasn't. Pens-Canes I like the Canes chances against the Pens. They have a good solid team and maybe the best goaltenderleft in the playoffs. Wings-Hawks Hard to see the Hawks beating the Wings but Khabibulin is pretty solid...Toews and Patrick Kane excellent young players. I'm hoping the youth of the Hawks will enable them to wear out some of the old guys on the Wings -- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
