    But then again renting depends on having a rig to rent. At my DZ there are only two rigs that are available and they're the CI's and DZO's. . I just bought my first rig. 97 Racer Elite with a Sabre 150 and PD143R.     My first response to this was RTFM, so I did. THe manula available on the website doesn't mention anything about the grommets not lining up. Maybe an email to Sunrise is in order, asking them to include this in their manual. -- Arching is overrated - Marlies

    I did a S/L course through cadets to get my para wings. A few weeks later I decided that I wanted to do this, and a couple of months later, I went back and started up again on SL.     Thats what I (read 'Mum') did. We cut an old pair of pants, added a bit in the length, and a bit for bagginess and made them up. The next iteration is going to be longer, and not as baggy. We're also going to try to pleat the cuffs. -- Arching is overrated - Marlies

    There was an article in the Australian Skydiving Magazine a while ago about a bird strike. A guy hit one in freefall and was nearly knocked out. On the ground he got some first aid, and was sent to a hospital. Doctors there removed a bird's claw from his forehead! -- Arching is overrated - Marlies
