Just wanted to thank all of you,, Have been reading lots here and last weekend got hold of Pinnacle 7 Studio,, so now I'm hooked,, only 210 jumps so being cautious,, but I'm getting a new PC set up specifically for video editing,, talked with the DZO at our small DZ and the School folks also,, I'll be putting together an official highlights of 2002 video for the DZ, gonna get my coach and IAD ratings when a local course gets set up,, setting up shooting new students working towards there A license with coached/video jumps through the school,,, video jumps of lowtime jumpers who want ta see what there doing wrong have already approaced me,, and of course get a business license so I can write off all my expenses for all of it,, I'm stoked and will have lotsa questions for ya's as this gets rolling,, But again thanks already for all of the great info!! Jeese,, just found this and thought I better put in my .02 cents,,, It is my home DZ, where I learned to jump, the folks are friendly and willing to jump with all levels,, more of a laid back club atmosphere,, the turbine C-207 is an excellant small DZ jump ship, and the C-182 is available for doin formation loads and slow days,,, we're on the way to Lost Prairie from Seattle/Portland areas and have had numerous West Coast jumpers stop by on there way East.. we've also been recently discovered by the Seattle area jumpers to head East on rainy days there,, the Crabtree School Jumpmasters are amoung the best,, most are Survival school instructors at Fairchild AFB,, or recently retired from there, and have trained and jumped all sorts of military folks in static jumps,, HALO's, night jumps, 200lbs of gear strapped to them etc... having your first jump with someone who has that kind of experience is hard to find anywhere,, the setting is a small town in a farming area with lots of safe outs in wide open fields all over in case of the rare bad spot,, I know the website is being worked on as I write this,,, so if your in the area stop by and say hello,, but if it's your first time/jump there bring your BEER!! For a small DZ you can't beat it and I will rate it a 9/10 just cuz I'm biased and we don't have an Otter or Skyvan.... Billy

OK this guy shows up at the DZ yesterday,, starts tellin stories that amaze an entertain us,, he's gotta be at least 65+ yrs old,, does a 4-way with no helmet or goggles on a big ass chute in winds of 15+ kts,, landed ok thank God,, has this green van that is a travelin history museum of skydiving he's livin in while he travels,, watched several videos that were way cool,, he's on his way to Lost Prairie after visiting some ol friends in the area,, signed my logbook,, his C license # is C-59,, say's he gave his D-license to a girl,, hmm gotta be a story there right,, loved hearing him talk and see some of the picts of just how far this sport has come over the last so many years,,,
