Hay,, Lousy weather here keeping us grounded,, we are in the winter flow and was wondering what type of anti fog cloths work the best,, we go from cold dry air at alt to damp warmer air and it can fog the lens for several seconds to the point of water drops streakin across the lens,, any tips?? Yup,, I am,,, Only 3 months last Friday,, one a the reasons I dropped off here for a while,, got in some trouble at work,, now in IOP, 3 AA meetings a week, and counseling,, weekly reports to a job site monitor and I have 5 yrs now of random breathalyzers and piss tests just ta keep my job,, How ta cope I think was the original topic,, the night I got popped the DZO called and we talked for an hour about the DZ,, he really wanted me ta stick around and was there for support,, 2 days later my JM retired from military,, 2 whole BBQ'd pigs and yup,, 2 kegs a beer,, I just told all I was and alcholic and if I get in any shit I'm outta a job,, no questions or excuses,, fessing up made everyone aware and they have ALL been very supportive,, personnaly I belive if ya are gonna drink again you'll find an excuse,, and at that point any will do,, the fuckin shit is everywhere cuz it's legal,, and like stated already,, the money I was spending on beer is going to gear,, Best of luck to ya bro,, feel free ta PM me if ya need anything... I agree with not wanting too much crap in the video if thats what it is,, some folks just aren't that interesting,, but keeping it interesting, and capturing the emotions with someones first jump,,thats part of the editing too right,, I also remember the way I felt watching my first jump video and how it could make my palms sweat all over again,, I don't think we should "short" the customer of video they may really enjoy seeing because we get used to seeing the same shots over and over,, it may be the only jump they ever do,, one of the advantages to a small DZ will be not having to edit a shitload of jumps come Monday... $80 for that?? Ours are $60,, but we are considering upping that for next year,,, and with me and my buddy learnin to fly tandem video that often includes 2-3 differant camera angles... anybody else offer more than one angle?? Tapes are an easy 20 minutes with titles, nice fades and great music, often suggested favorites of the passenger.. Our problem is getting them done and back to the customer as it takes a while to turn out the tape, often it's mailed in about a week.
