OK Enough!! Wasn't that long ago someone posted a thread for us in the Pacific NW to send the Sun back to Cali or they'll send more earthquakes our way,, So we haven't had anymore earthquakes,, but shit,, we haven't had any Sun on the weekend for over a month,, It's been hard to read the threads of all you folks out playin while we mold!! Hay All, I started thinkin about it after talkin with a gal who came up to the hospital roof,, we had flown her in after she landed hard,, pulled way to early,, even tho she was just gettin around again she was still stoked about the sport,, the a gal loined our flight team who was a very active jumper, did the jump for the cause womens record cancer thing 2 years ago,, they have a party every year at there place in the country that has a grass strip, and invited all of us to come out,, 6 of us did the AFF jump ( never was good with that peer pressure! ) and a couple others did tandems,, I was hooked as was my buddy,, we already have 6 or 7 folks from work lined up for tandems and 1 who wants ta do AFF,, cant wait for that one!!

Hay Frank,, Don't ya just love hearin folks in Cali whine about the rain,, we set a record here in Spokane for the # a days with snow on the ground, measured at the airport of more than an inch, we went like 118 days,, but with all that the snow pack in the mountains ain't squat and they are already worried 'bout the Summer drought they're predicting,, since we let all our water outta the lakes so them folks in Cali can turn on there computers!! but what sucks is the lack of sunshine,, we've had very few "Sunny" days since like Halloween,, but Spring is coming and El Sol is warming shit up,, looks like we'll get ta jump tommorow!! Yo,,,, OK,, some of ya get pissed when someone accuses ya of doin sumthin stupid,,, I have no problem with that,, no one likes ta be thought of that way,, so I thought I would tell ya'll ONE THING I've done in that category,, just ta make ya feel better,,, back when I was just outta high school,, 4th Of july,, was workin at the Ski area North a Tucson called Mt. Lemmon,, was riding the chair lift back up to the top after a break,, my little bro and a friend were workin the top while I was gone,, and after seein me they got "silly",, swingin chairs off the top,, riding them around the bull wheel, bla bla bla,, so I stand up on the chair I'm riding and start it swinging,, then I climb up on the chair,, and next thing I know I'm above the chair on the cable,, goin hand over hand down ta the next chair behind me,, 60 ft in the air hanging,, actin like a friggin monkey,, well shit,, guess what,, I was half way to the chair behind me when I hear my bud and lil bro start hollering,, a lift tower was coming up,, the brake over tower,, the cable went over the top of wheels and shit,, I looked over my shoulder and knew I was in deep doo doo,, I was 60 ft up,, hangin from a cable on a chair lift,, and lookin at gettin some fingers smashed,, then a long fall ta rocks and concrete,, So I had this bright Idea, make my fingers and forearms strong as steel,, then they could go through the shit and I'd be OK,, ya laugh,, but I was thinkin positive!! When I ran into that tower nothin happened,, well almost nuthin,, my arms locked up and the cable kept goin,, hurt like hell,, chewed my hands up big time,, I was worried about the next chair,, if it came through I knew I would go through the shivs and I'd get fingers chopped,, took 3 hard pulls ta get my hand outta the mess it was snagged in,, then I monkeyed my way to the halo around the tower without lookin at my hand,, climbed down off the tower and saw my hand was all fucked up,, almost passed out,, hee hee, but my Boss was driving up the mountain ta pick us up so we wouldn't have ta ride the chair lift down,, and he was a close friend of my family,,,, we had ta come up with a story that would make sense as to why my hand was all a mess,, Anyway here's my point,, we all do stupid shit,, if your lucky ya live through it, and if ya aren't a Darwin candidate ya learn from it,,, OK,, now what have ya'll done that ya know was just plain stupid,, I'm curious,,, Like I said,, that's just "one" thing,,, geez I could go on and on,,, good thing I haven't been jumping that long!!! : ) Billy

Hello Ladies, Hay Jumpergirl that is way too cool!! I watched the movie when in a bad weather slump and after watchin all my own vids almost to the breakin point,,, figured it would be like "ClifF Hanger" with Stallone,, ya know,, check your brain at the opening credits if ya know anything about the subject and hope ther's some entertainig shots,, so I enjoyed the skydidving stuff and the rest was just hollyweed makin a profit,, OK so what scenes were ya in anyway,, I'm gonna go rent it again just ta see ya!! Hay Again,,, It warms me ta read about what you R doin ta help with these folks,,, I am glad ta see more and more of our young'uns aren't even intersted in smokin or drinkin,,, and ladies like you R there ta help them through the hard times,,, I grew up in Tucson in the late 70's and have personaly done a bunch a "chemicals",,,,, I totally blew an interview after College when the subject of illicit drugs was asked,, I was like hay,,, we legalized alcohol, and nicotine, 2 of the most addictive and deadly drugs available,, not ta mention the draining they have on the health care system in the US,,, so just PISS OFF!! We felt it here in Spokane,, just shook pictures,, made hanging lights swing, no damage really,, planes headin to Seatlle were diverted here and like 200 people had ta be put up in hotels,, they sent a temporary military ATC tower from Spokane to SeaTac, guess it was damaged pretty good,, Glad you guys closer are ok!! Hay Lisa!! I remember your post from months back and am glad your doin well!!!!! I blew my back out years back and the best it ever felt was while in school and took a PE class for an easy credit,,, swimming,, 3 days a week we swam a mile,, my back never felt better and in the Fall for skiing I could go non stop top ta bottom w/o stopping all day on my first day, wasn't sore later and never outta breath,, just a thought,, it works all the muscle groups that support your spine w/o impact, your CV system, and probably ya could get your doc and even an HMO to pay for your membership,, Now ya should also get the doc ta get the HMO ta get ya a hot tub/jacuzzi for your rehab!! Just pursue the shit outta that and do some research on it,, them friggin HMO's will fight ya and if ya persist it could eventually pay off,, then send us all a pict of how well you doin!!
