I'm not Gay,, that said,, my first experiance with a gay male couple was outta high school,, livin on top a Mt Lemmon by Tucson,, one was pretty obvious the other ya'd never know,, they were an accepted part of the small community up there,,never saw anybody hassle them,,femmy got in a fight with his brother about it and got his jaw busted and wired shut,, we all ribbed him and his buddy,, "can ya suck IT through a straw??" A bunch from work went to a "happy" bar one night,, the guy who's birthday we were celebrating is "that way",, I was really offended that night cuz I didn't get HIT ON ONCE!! How do they know?? I judge people by the way they treat their friends, family, dog, cat, etc,, I'm not prejudice ya know,, I'll hate anybody!! My Prayers go out for all of you who were fortunate enough ta have met this wonderful lady, and especially the children who will miss her... I agree with not placing blame,, I'm sure the pilots etc are just sick over this,, but we also need ta know what happend exactly or ya were goona see it happen again,, and Michelle doesn't sound like the kind of person who would want that ta happen! I can envision some scenarios that caused it,, but will wait for the facts,, learn from them,, and do what I can ta make the sport safer for those I jump with,, some of my friends were at San Marcos not long ago,, one did his first tandem, another got his SCR,, they spoke very highly of the quality of everyone there and just loved how friendly and accepting ya'll were,, I'm sure Michelle wouldn't want any negative energy focused on anyone and would rather we learn and JUMP SAFE!! Yo Swede,, I was thinking of the same thing,, off of Mt. Ranier in Washington state,, no weeds,, 14,410 MSL,, steep slopes and ideally a light wind,, sounds possible and beats the hike down that ruins my knee,,what ya'll think?? I was curios ta glide slope and decsent rate, chute size at that alt etc.. I looked into some paragliding schools and the cost is prohibitive,, well, more like a lot of skydives and a good used rig ta get that setup & training,, so if ya decide ta do this let me know how it goes otay!!
