    Then think in MPH and it'll seem slower... I still think it's just a mental block. The person i knew that had "trouble" breathing said she felt it was hard to breath in. Just the opposite of what you're describing. Your next jump if it is anything like my 2nd AFF jump... the instructors will keep you so busy with thing to pay attention to and do that you'll breath without even thinking about it.

    there are a few good words about remembering to breath in this years SIM Mike X has ingrained in my head that breathing is no different on the ground, in the plane or in freefall. He pulled me aside before a the loads i was on with him and reminded me to take a deep breath before going to the door and then one as soon as you exit just to remind myself that i can. It also helped to relax me.

I got a bit nervous heading into "Sunny LA" aka... Lackawanna when all that was going on. Especially knowing the alligations and now plea deals. Can't imagine what else has gone through there.

    it looks like one of the naked anti war protests that i saw on a feed at work. But we can't show that much on the evening news.... lol. So i didn't see that vantage point.

    You could always build a wood/composite kayak or boat... a guy i work with has been since last august. Chesapeake 18 Kit It's a beautiful boat i don't even want to think about the total # hours he's got into it b/c it's more and more becoming a work of art then just a seaworthy touring kayak. I even got to help him a couple days with his bulkheads and some of the fibreglass/epoxy work. matt

    so have you heard anything specifically about a full size sensor coming out so we don't have to keep doing the conversions and loosing the capabilities of the wider lenses? ie... I'm thinking about picking up a full frame fisheye (for Nikon 35mm) eventually and would really like to see the day that i could get a digi SLR that would take advantage of it. and not turn the 16 into a 25... matt

    I try to stop and avoid running into anything living on the road. I drive a lot for work and knock on wood haven't hit anything at work. Until the other night almost a week ago. I'd never seen one live before, but a pheasant runs out in front of my car. So i slow down quickly, but not slam on the brakes. Just as I start to feel relieved that it will make it across the road.... WHACK.... we get rear ended by a Jeep Cherokee. Thankfully no damage. my reporter ends up with a little whip lash/headache and the other guy is fine. matt

    the last coon i saw wondering around during the day... my neighbor "disposed of" Texas style 12ga buckshot. at least it didn't suffer.

    i'm guessing their not the kind that can detonate the mines w/o being blown to "McMonkey" nuggets? At least the dolphins get some fish when they're done locating and marking mines in the water.

    i wish i could be the bat and fly the newsroom nightmare at my station. not enough seniority to make the buy out worth it and too much debt to go job free for long, plus i want to get my A and a rig before i leave.
