nice 8 cell... very nice work, bet it would be a real pain to put a harness/container on the little guy, huh? Or you'd have to make it really really big to be easier to work with.

That's just a quote I've heard. Never said it myself. Until I typed it that is... lol.

Funny, but can you say photoshop. The shadows on a number of them are far to sharp. Looks like there are three cars originally... one explorer, one older crown vic and a newer one.

how's that SV50S? I thought about getting one when I was looking for a bike. didn't though. matt

There is a thing called the Haynes directory and a few others that I use at work all the time. For phone numbers that I can't find addresses for, tracking a prank caller, finding cross streets to addresses, etc... All for work purposes of course. Except when some unknown person calls my phone and I don't know the number.

surreal... thought it was a support group for schizzos first. lol But the real message is stranger.

AVID has many forms of its software as well as whole systems. You can buy Express DV as just the program, or a bundle, or a system, or add any bells and whistles you want. They just unvieled AVID DNA that can handle all sorts of sources... It's expensive, but AVID is a good company in the sense that they tend to take what they've learned from the higher end software/systems and roll it into their whole product line.

Parachute Landing Warning Signs?
newshooter12 replied to AggieDave's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
One of the guys at Frontier knows how to make signage of all sorts. I think he's the head of street signs/lights and all that signage in Buffalo. Not sure if he makes them for other DZs though, but i'm sure he could help with info. matt -
I remember a pretty good post from not too long ago in this very forum... One FF2 Search results hope this helps.

Avid just announced it's new DNA lineup. Bad part is that it's not shipping yet... My brother called the tech line and asked some questions today. It sounds like a nice HD - SD - DV25 - 10-bit capable system. Now if i only had the $75k or so laying around... lol. matt

Don't feel to bad... I think you're paying just for the labor. Bench time costs a bundle of dough. If we send back a lens at work it costs $600 just to open the box and do nothing more. (not that i pay it because the copany does, but it's still not cheap) matt

A report that I heard @approx. 0005 Eastern on NPR said that all that was left of the residence was a big crater w/rubble and at least one car.

The latest press confrence that i saw come down on the feeds was something like that. The part that got me laughing hard was the reporters Story (PKG) about it. Her one track said that the info minister denied the british or americans were in the city at all while they had just been seen 300 yards away at the nearest presidential palace.... matt

Beyond what quade said about how often you get to look through the viewfinder while skydiving... I prefer to shoot with a B&W viewfinder. I shoot for a living and find that judging contrast, brightness and focus is easier/faster with B&W vs. Color viewfinders. A friend loaned me an XL1 to play with when they first came out and it's stock color viewfinder drove me nuts. Just my 2 cents. matt

i've heard some people cover them with latex from a finger of a glove or such, but how does the glue taste?
