With that mean angry PPG face of yours, I don't think you need any more help from the other PPGs. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

I sit here at work (getting really frustrated with the Whuffo boss who only cares about work and nothing else) and waiting for my day to end, so that I can jump in my packed car and drive the 6 or so hours down to the Skydive NM boogie. Outside of being a little tired right now, I'm really looking forward to this boogie. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

If I have my wheels with me, I would like to check out Marana for at least one day while I'm in the area over the X-Mas holidays. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

I tried another pack job later in the evening last night, and that attempt was much more successful (so much so that I think I would jump it). I still need tons more practice, but thanks to my last attempt, I have more confidence that I can do it. Thank to all who tried to give me some tips.

Since I had to jump my pack job in order to obtain my "A" License, I figured I might have a fighting chance at packing my new rig. But I don't know if I've hit a Murphy's Law situation or is it just Catch-22. Ok now, since I'm new to the sport, I jump in Colorado (altitude issues) and relatively big (bones, muscle and yes some fat on this camper), my first main canopy is pretty big (a Triathlon 220). And on top of that it's a ZP canopy. So it seems that us newbies with large ZP canopies just get screwed when it comes to trying to pack. I think I've got the flaking part down pretty well, but my problem is getting the damm thing in the "D" bag. Well after four attempts, I finally forced it in, but I'm not sure I'd like to jump this pack job as I was squishing that canopy all over the place. I will try again, but now I need to rest and eat something. Aghhh Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Bummer ... it'll be fun. How many more jumps do you need to make to get off of student status? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

I saw that (in reference to the Canadian Invasion boogie) and it would be really cool to be there during that time (I had a great time a month or so ago partying with some country men at a Tragically Hip concert here in Denver). But I don't think I'd be able to get time off of work for not only the Christmas boogie but also the Canadian Invasion boogie. Of course if I cut away from society and moved to the Skydive Arizona DZ, then missing work wouldn't be an issue. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Hey you learn something new all the time. I knew the rig needed some sort of reserve packing card, but I had no idea that it would be hidden in that pouch. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

I just drove from Calgary to Denver last Saturday (16 1/2 hours) which followed driving from Vancouver to Calgary (10 1/2 hours) one week ago Tuesday and the original leg of my trip was from Denver to Vancouver (20 hours of driving) two Fridays ago. But I whimped out on that first leg of my trip and stayed in an Oregon motel one night. So I don't have a total time on that leg. But 28 hours from Edmonchuk with two drivers sounds about right and is doable if you don't mind driving. Are you coming then? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

See your whining the other day paid off. I got mine last night and I can't wait to try it. Are you in Hawaii? That must make some things a little more difficult. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

It's too far out for me to know exactly when I'll be leaving. I have briefly talked with one of my Colorado jumping peers from Mile-Hi and may or may not be travelling with him. Are you in Colorado now? I seem to remember that you were in Korea but since coming back home I assumed you were living in the NY area. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Kelli Thanks for the info. I'll look into it (I really would like to jump this weekend) and I just may show my face there. I don't believe I've met you at Mile-Hi, but I do know Derek. I had him as an instructor on at least one of my AFF lessons back when I was a student. So if I go, I'll just look for him and meet you I guess. Toque I honestly had to look that one up ... Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

What can I say. Most guys have more practice spanking the monkey than you girls. It's just one of the benefits (or should I really be saying hindrances) to being a guy. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Where are you guys going? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Nope ... Boulder, Colorado Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Me thinks me will be driving ... but I'm a little closer than Georgia. PS: How'd y'all like my grammar, eh? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

218 on my 4th attempt, but I'm going to have to leave it at that as if my boss saw me doing that (it's bad enough I'm posting here) all day long, I'd be shown the door. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Yes I stand corrected. Meet my fellow DZ.COMers and consume mass quantities of alcohol. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Woo-hoo!!! First off I should say congrats on your new rig. It looks neat. After a long wait (more than 8 weeks) I finally took possesion last night of my first skydiving rig (oops beer). But at this moment I have no pictures to share with everybody (I will try and get something posted in a few days). But it's a Wings container with a Triathlon main, a PD Reserve and it also has a Cypres installed. I'm really looking forward to the day I can jump it for the first time (oops another beer). But I fear that mother nature has other plans for me this weekend (rumors of snow here in Colorado on Saturday). Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Man I can't wait to not only have fun (and be safe) skydiving at such an event, but to also get to meet some of my fellow DZ.COMers. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

I'm poised to take possession of a Triathlon 220 (according to the FedEx website, my new rig is somewhere in the Denver area, but still not in my hands) and it'll be loaded at approximately 1.06:1. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Sunshine Assuming you've got some spare change lying around, you should look into a Therm-a-rest easy chair. Not only do you use it as a self-inflating sleeping pad, but you can also use it as a chair. I use this setup when I'm off backpacking and don't want to sit on a log. http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?productId=9130176&storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&langId=-1&addon=668530-668531 Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

I believe I will be camping as well but I don't know if I want to ask about this 10 foot rule of yours, Kelli's and Derek's. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Kelli I'll likely be seeking out Derek's rigging services sometime in the future for my reserve re-packs and what not. But unless I'm mistaken, I'm paying a little extra to have a rigger contracted through SQ1 assemble things this first time around. Of course it would also be in my best interest to have the rig (even though it's new) inspected before I jump it. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
