I was there in '98 and it is worth the price of admission if you're looking for a piece of americana in Europe. It's actually Disneyland Paris now (to apease the French). The park is smaller and if you're looking for something to do, a nice distraction. Check the calendar though - I was there on a school holiday and the place was infested with little dirty, stinky french school kids with hormones a raging. ------ Michael

Never done international through Dulles, but have through O'Hare. O'Hare was quick and efficient, just make sure you get in the US Citizen line and not the everyone else line. Dallas - New Customs area that still forces you to go through security again once you're cleared (missed my flight, but they upgraded me to compensate). Nigeria - A few dollars slipped in the passport and a few dollars left on top of your belongings in your suitcase will get you through immigration and customs quickly. London Gatwick - Quick and efficient if they want to drill the citizens of the country you just came from (Nigeria) London Heathrow - Even though producing an itinerary that I'd be leaving the country in 3 hours, I still get drilled. I've pulled 3 Texans in their SUVs out of the ditch the last 3 Friday nights on my way back up to the house from the airport Week 1. Two teenagers driving mom's Jeep. Mom told them it was always in 4x4. They passed me going about 70 (I was going 40 in 4x4). Just had to speed up a little to see what they ended up doing. Yep, ditch it was. Week 2. Couple had flown in for the weekend to go skiing and they were actually on the same flight as I. Somewhere along the line, they passed me up. Not sure how or where as they had to get a rental, I just had to go find my wheels. They were in the same area as number 1 above. Week 3. bunch of college twits (note: no twitettes in vehicle) from College Station. A few open beers in their SUV (Caddy Escalade) and they ended up way off the road. Again, same area as the two above, but this one ended up way off the road. Week 4. Tonight...No one in the ditch. ------ Michael

Equifax gives you your FICO score, Experian does not. I'm heading out for a bit but will do all the research that you've lacked to do and post results later. Fair Isaac is a licensed product that is the industry standard. All the bureaus provide the numbers to creditors. As licensees of the product from Fair Isaac, don't you think it's in Fair Isaac's best interest not to upset their customers? ------ Michael

Yes...My point being is that creditors look at your FICO score. TransUnion and Experian (or Equifax)* will sell you their flavor of your FICO score. Their flavor is not used when making credit decisions and is a waste of money to obtain if you're curious as to what your credit scores are. The only place to get your true FICO score from all the major bureaus is MyFICO.com. MyFICO is a division of the Fair Isaac COrporation, the creators of the FICO score. The only place you can obtain your FICO score for all 3 bureaus is from them. All 3 bureaus use the same scheme to generate your FICO score based on Fair Isaac - they all just don't sell you your FICO score. *(I'm still looking through my notes as I'm not sure if it's Experian or Equifax that provides your real FICO score and not their flavor of it that is useless to even know.) ------ Michael

MyFICO is 15-16$ last I checked for your three FICO scores from the 3 bureaus. I think you missed (and I didn't 'splain well) the point. If you order your score from TransUnion, you are NOT getting your FICO score with them but getting TransUnion's flavor of the score - not what potential (or existing) creditors look at. Not sure if it's Experian or Equifax (can't find my notes) but one of those really does sell your FICO score and not their flavor of it. ------ Michael
