If it's not a fulltime jumpship, then it's a specialty. Specialties may be faster, but are not used on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure Mike won't have a problem with a fast jump plane that's not on the circuit on a regular basis. ------ Michael

Why airline tickets cost so much; Flying to Akron

Don't feel bad. My tix to hawaii in a couple weeks originally were: DEN-DFW-LAX-LIH. Called the platinum desk (since I've got that now too) and they've got me dropping DFW in the middle. Downside is I get to sit in LAX for a while. Guess that why I got the club membership for... -
25 cents won't make the books balance. The other expenses involved are already taken care of because they'll balance on the books... ------ Michael

I've been told mine are pretty well done and not have to be redone. I even turned this one in late so I could turn it in in dollars and not pounds to make the accountants job easier. Ask riddler, I'm anal about my expense reports. ------ Michael

$125.62. That's about 1/2 of what it was last month ------ Michael

For those who have them, what's been your most painful one to submit? I just got done with my Sept 05 one and it tallied up to $26,639.18. This is just under what I recently paid for my 05 Trailblazer. ------ Michael

From experience, one run to Kinkos will pay for the printer. btw, the HP 2550Ln would be appropriate for your office size (I deployed in a 6 person office). List price is about 600$. ------ Michael

HP 2550Ln. Network printer server built in. Just deployed one. ------ Michael

I didn't hit the other thread, but did backpack all over europe in 97 (2 weeks) and 98 (3 weeks). The second trip was much cheaper than the first as we (my little brother and I) learned what we should and shouldn't have done. Many stories, rewarding experiences. I'd do it again. Glad you had fun... ------ Michael

There it is. You shouldn't have too many problems! Caveat to this though is the verbage in the lease. The landlord may go after both equally for 100% of the outstanding debt. Once they get it, they're done. They're not going to go after 50% here and 50% there as both are liable for 100% of the balance, even if 'split'. ------ Michael

Since I would not be managing the online presence for the WFFC, I asked Sangiro to disable the ID as there were many posts that were mine and not related to the WFFC, but the would still be searchable as there was plenty of good information posted over the years. I've had many people (not kidding, many...) outside the WFFC that have insisted that I start dialog with the WFFC to take over the online presence again as it has noticeably been neglected since early spring. I've been way beyond busy with my normal clients so I have not had time to take up that dialog (currently in Scotland). ------ Michael

PM me if you're looking for lodging. I can point you in the direction of a few different lodging alternatives since I live in the area. ------ Michael

Exactly. It also depends on the origination city as well and where the package is being routed to. The larger cities that have a larger distribution center will do a 'pre-sort' and get packages inline to go to local regional areas without having to ship out of town. ------ Michael

The WFFC ID (formerly me) has been disabled. Traditionally, the beginning date is the first Friday of August. I have been told by a few that there was discussion (again) about changing the dates to July, but again, that might just be more rumor and speculation than real fact. Normally by now, the dates are posted but since they're still promoting the WFFC like it hasn't happened yet on their website, but it appears as if my 'outstanding replacement' isn't so outstanding. ------ Michael

I live in Summit county and the skiing has always been great. Off slope there are many things to do as well. As for the best place to board/ski? I'd have to say Winter Park. Winter Park is where many of the locals go to avoid the tourists on the slopes. ------ Michael

Saw both, but wasn't hungry. In the paper today there was mention that a foreign navy ship would be docking this weekend so the prostitutes were getting themselves prepped for a busy weekend. I'm so screwed when I get home and have to drive on the right side of the road. ------ Michael -

That's one I haven't heard yet, but I have heard 'cunnie' a few times from the ladies here in the office I'm at. We were here late last night so ended up just getting pizza delivered. Scottish pizza is crap. ------ Michael -

I'm currently in Aberdeen Scotland working on a project and will be here for a few more days. Below are just a few of the cultural differences that I've noticeably picked up on since I got here... 1. London – Fashion is something that everyone here seems to be keen on. I just don’t understand their tastes in the slightest. I thought black as the only color was out? I stuck out like a sore thumb in my white shirt when I was out and about today. 2. London – Does anyone believe in dentists here? I have yet to notice a nice set of choppers. Aberdeen is even worse. 3. London – I’ve finally run into the first 5’ girl that was taller than me. She was aided in this pursuit by her 18” platform shoes. Not kidding. The tops of the platforms were just below my knees. 4. London – So, if I stand in line or get on the train, the ticket price is the same? 5. London – I order my coffees upside down from Starbucks. Basically, put the syrup on the bottom of the cup first. They look at me like I’m strange and have no clue what I’m asking. 6. Aberdeen – Picked up a car to get around. Didn’t think it would take this much concentration to drive on the wrong side of the road. 7. I’ve found the Scottish equivalent to the last name ‘Smith’ – MacGregeor. All the hotel staff I’ve met so far has the last name of MacGregeor. I wonder of they have Mexican ladies to clean the room with the last name MacGregeor too. 8. I think people here spend too much time trying to perfect their imitations of the people in the cigarette ads too much. They have cancer stick handling down to an art. 9. Women really like their scarves over here. Even when it's 60-70 degrees out, their still wearing their winter scarf. 10. Haggis (sp)? Not really sure what to make of it yet. Might have to try it again. 11. Monday night football is rowdier and drunker in a small pub that Monday night football in a sportsbar in the US. Pubs hands down are more energetic and will fight amongst themselves to prove a point. 12. Driving on the right side of the road means driving on right side of the road, not the left. Didn't we beat these guys enough 200+ years ago to straighten them out? 13. Beer, the other dinner. Enjoy... ------ Michael
