Doesnt help the fact that my shipping date has changed from 3 Mar to 29 Mar. I was expecting to have it in time for my trip to Perris on 16 Mar. I cant understand why i recieved an email from Apple stating that the MBP was shipping yet my order is gonna be shipped later than originally estimated. Spoke to customer services and they were no use at all just told me to wait and see. Not at all what I would have expected from Apple. It does annoy me when I see people wearing them as jewelery because they have done some jumps and want to be identified as a skydiver. I have a pin that I took off my bridle when I replaced it after 1000 jumps. I will some day get round to putting it on a neclace and wearing it, because itg served me well for 1000 jumps not because I jump. I have also thought about giving it to a close freind as a good luck present, but the jury is still out on that. Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I am looking at getting one of these myself and have spoken at some length to 3 of the cameramen at Netheraven that jump this or the A1E (mmmmmmm). Both camera's take a 37mm thread so you can fit w/a lenses, however the thread is set back quiet deep so you need a lens with a long thread. Unfortunately I think my Kenko .42 is not long enough. Also the camera has quite a wide, w/a setting so you may find your existing lense gives you yto wide an angle, again this seems to be the case with my .42. It looks to me like the jumper is clearly pushed out of the A/C by the instructor, cardinal sin No1 for SL RAPS canopies. There are better ways to assist the student to exit square to the A/C than this method. The instructor has also "short lined" the student by holding on to a loop of the static line, this has the effect of allowing the canopy to deploy quicker than it should. As you can see in the video the student gets his arm between the risers as the canopy deploys this may have been avoided had the instructor not "short lined" him. However the main reason for not short lining is to avoid the deploying canopy striking the tail of the A/C, something that could have happened in this case had the A/C lost height as the student exited. As a student this is to be expected, especially on early S/L descents. The instructor may not have known this especially if he had not met the student previously, he should have expected it though. Im sure they are not, just as they are not pushed at any DZ Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Finally decided to make the jump from PC to Mac and ordered my MACBook Pro on 23 Jan. Considering that when I asked if you would like to come over to RAPA and coach FF on one of our advanced courses you made it quite clear that you wanted financial remuneration. As for the military not allowing FF on courses that is incorrect, just ask Tim Porter and the students he coached on the very same advanced course at RAPA last year. Is business that bad at Airkix that they have to promote it by putting a 2 year old in? I have 3 children aged 10, 7 and 19 months and I would not think of putting them in the tunnel at that age. I will however be taking the two oldest to a tunnel in the near future. Im not questioning your parenting skills, just giving my opinion. I dont know they will be putting birds in Airkix next

We spent 4 hours in the tunnel today, 2 groups doing 30min in 30 min out, with each group split down into 4 ways or one on ones giving us 2 min in 2 min out for the 30 min. So as you can imagine it was a pretty exhausting session. I understand Paul opened up especially for our group, so thanks very much. Bodyflight certainly does rock, massive chamber nice air, helpfull staff. Im already looking forward to going back soon, and maybe taking my kids. Bad Lippspringe is a DZ run by the british Army, we have a turbine islander, all the facilities you would expect at a DZ and all the staff are English. I have a HC30 which I top mount on a FTP in a D Box, and side mount on a Pro Tec with out the D Box. I have had no probs with it being side mounted at all. Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Yes it is. I have a BPA rating as RAPA is a BPA DZ, the only one in mainland Europe. I am sure I could convert to DFV (German association) but I am not sure that a BPA rating is valid at any other DZ in Germany. Buzz It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
